  1. Any chance Marco will do some awesome Alternate Silhouettes for CMFB? Really love to get a fast glance at armor and penetration data like in CMx1.
  2. WOW! So happy you are working on some CMFB mods Aris
  3. Thanks for sharing.. really need translucent trees to see my own guys
  4. Yes. If I'm not mistaken there is no 3D model for the ZF39 scopes, they are all represented as ZF41 1.5x. A shame as the ZF39 just looks cooler and it would be cool to see them both in game. I'm guessing that squad dedicated marksmen usually had the ZF41 and "true" snipers had 4x scopes. Didn't think of checking the manual as I hadn't seen the 3d model of ZF39 scopes in the game and BF is usually so good with details no matter how small. Its good to know that the scopes in game at times are representing 4x power though, but if you cant tell by the model in the game its hard to know what to expect from your sniper unit. It must be easier to hit targets further away if you are equipped with a 4x scope compared to a 1.5x. And if all scopes in game really are ZF39 4x and they are modeled as ZF41's 1.5x that's a bit weird, no?
  5. Not a single grog commenting on this.. or are they all in the CMFB forum?
  6. I was wondering about German sniper rifles and their scopes. In all of the CMx2 ww2 titles I can only recall that I have come across the two types below. As I understand it the ZF41 1.5X scope was the most common for the Kar98k. But shouldn't we be seeing some ZF39 4X power as seen below? Or are they already in?
  7. The manual says that air support will be handled as in CMRT. Is this the case or a relic from the CMRT manual? Still no plans to backport this to CMBN and FI? Guessing it makes sense for the Germans at this point but the western allies only got better at it as long as the campaign lasted surely?
  8. Sound mods do a lot for immersion IMO (check out waclaw or oddball, you can also mix them to your liking). Id recommend everything by Aris (terrain and units). There are also great mods for effects, explosions, tracers etc. Jujus interface, Marcos unitcards, and uniform mods by EZ and Vein.. Mods and personalizing the look of the game is a lot of fun so go around and botanize.
  9. WOW! Looks really good but thats what we've come to expect Thanks for doing this Juju!
  10. Great Looking forward to the finished product!
  11. If you still need testers Im happy to help.
  12. I play a lot of games too but CM is king. Its not perfect, nothing is, but the way the series evolve, the realism, modding abbilities, community etc. Its just a great product. Thanks BFC and all of the community. Love the western front and dident really get into CMBO as I played CMBB first. So Im happy to have enjoyed (still do) CMBN and soon CMFB (learned alot too!). But Im also really looking forward to some early war eastern front.
  13. The chap has not been around long enough to learn that Emrys always is correct.
  14. Finally . Will wait for release and download only though.
  15. Veteran crews would surely be moved to newer / better vehicles?
  16. Looks like the heads are a bit high in CM. This guys head looks to be below the edge. These guys heads seem to be just above the edge but clearly not as much as the CM screen. Hard to know what kinds of SPW these are though (sure a grog will have me sorted in no time).
  17. Im reading Beevors "The Battle of the Bulge: Hitler's final gamble" and it mentions Ferdinands/Elefants taking part. Will we see them with the Schwimmwagen in the vehicle pack or first module?
  18. I would love to see Sd.Kfz. variants (5-11) in a vehicle pack or module. We already have some that are the AAA variants so shouldn't be to hard to add those without the gun I guess.
  19. Super news Juju! Your UI mods are one of the most have mods for sure.
  20. Currently its possible to get intel for one side before a battle (axis or allies), it would be cool if both sides could get intel on each other (in some cases its appropriate).
  21. Its a good idea to use one of the mods with semi transparent foliage. This will help you avoid situations like these. I cant recall any wtf moments since I did.
  22. Anyone that read "Objective Ponyri! The Defeat of XXXXI. Panzerkorps at Ponyri Train Station" by Martin Nevshemal? Would you recommend? I'm looking order as everything from Leaping Horseman Books looks to be golden. I was super pleased by Death of the Leaping Horseman and Into Oblivion Kharkov to Stalingrad.
  23. To have an up to speed CMSF (3.0 and upgradable) or a new version that makes it possible to make all kinds of scenarios in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria etc. Id pay a lot for that. Easily 75 dollars.
  24. Great bone and the way forward looks really good . Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
