  1. In the center.. The quick advance continues. The Bersaglieri that reposition or run for safety are in several places out flanked and shot dead when they exit their cover. Light resistance from long range encountered. The enemy is a few hundred meters out, by the plaza Duomo. One casualty suffered, by next turn we should outgun them with several BARs brought to bear. Overview of the center. The attack continues, but I expect heavier resistance as we approach the Duomo. At the Sawmill, Kohlenklaus men finally destroy that second INF gun. Overview of the kohlenklau sector.
  2. At the Grain elevator the Italians ready their 65 mm Inf guns. I quickly remove the BAR team that are in LOF of the gun. But being sloppy with the angels and LOS, a five man rifle team is annihilated by that same gun. Damn, five pixeltruppen down due to sloppiness. Inside the Grain elevator combat rages. The Italian engineers blow sections of walls to storm the men from 7th Inf Regiment that have taken one section of the large complex. They meet heavy fire and the assault is broken. Other sections are quickly forced to retreat due to MG fire from across the river. I have the upper hand in the Grain elevator complex but right outside a large Italian force is ready to counter attack! Under covering fire from light mortars and Inf guns, more Bersaglieri rush in. They might try to cut off our reinforcements and encircle the Grain elevator. Overview.
  3. I guess my install is screwed in some way.. or BFC has introduced new features with the vehicle pack
  4. I dont think anyone has modded it yet, no.
  5. I think the login for the forum and bfc.com are two separat things. So go register at bfc.com and you shoulb be able to buy it straight away.
  6. They look great man. And I have that same wish!
  7. Im afraid all the whining might have BFC reluctant to throw us a new bone. A update to road ahead would be really nice.
  8. Give us a bone please! We really need an update to the road ahead.
  9. 16 minutes to go.. The enemy advance is very close now. Panzerfausts and MP40s ready! Another Bren carrier bites the dust. No opportunity to put a Pzfaust in a Sherman yet, they stay out of range for now. Rookie mistake to park that vehicle right by the wall entrance. The driver will never get the chance to learn from that mistake. Tommies get picked off at range. The Shermans cant really aid them as my teams are on ground level and re-positioning between strikes. Same tank as in the pic above. How is it still driving around after two clean PAK40 penetrations to the upper hull? The enemy is deploying smoke, and are about to charge. Its about to get messy...
  10. God forbid that you download the mod that gives you the exact same information right in the info panel of the given tank/gun etc. Panther A late Wolverine
  11. Yes, one of the so called wunderwaffe, but it entered service to late to make a difference.
  12. Or you download the mod I posted about...
  13. Marcos excellent mod puts it right into the info panel. http://community.battlefront.com/topic/105621-alternate-silhouettes-and-weapons-uploaded-to-cm-mod-warehouse/?hl=marco#entry1386109
  14. Following with great interest as always Bil. Really nice screen shots!
  15. Thanks for the compilation Mord, really nice. I do hope the pack was enough of a good deal for BF to do it again. Tank riders, on map mortar vehicles and we really have to have the SdKfz2 7 Guntractor.
  16. Thanks Bil! The Allied commander is taking a very methodical approach. I'm guessing the next battle will see them bring in more infantry and well have a very bloody battle, house by house and street by street. I hope I can bloody their nose good once they start to move into the first rows of buildings. --------- The enemy probe towards the ATG position is hit by interlocking MG fire. Two men dead, by the looks of it, a sniper team. A stream of 7,62 mm bullets comes the Tommie's way. Overview: Interlocking MGs stop the enemy probe. The Tommies are still maneuvering closer towards Valkenswaard as the artillery keep falling on my positions. We are keeping our heads down, ready to spring deadly ambushes once the enemy takes the step into the first houses. Orders from Oberst Kerner are to stay put and delay the Allied advance into Valkenswaard proper.
  17. Id come if it wasnt for the fact I just bought an apartment. At the moment all I make goes towards that end. Great idea though. If theres ever a 2nd....
  18. 20 minutes to go.. A para tries to take down enemies assaulting Valkenswaard. Seconds later that same tank in the above screen shot takes aim and puts a 75 mm shell right through the window. Three men torn to pieces. All men are now ordered to take up positions on the ground floors to avoid the quick retaliation from Shermans on overwatch. Enemy infantry closing in on Valkenswaard. I will withdraw my forward elements, only leaving those who have key hole positions, safe from enemy tanks. The enemy artillery barrage on the city is starting to intensify. A few casualties are inflicted. A HMG opens up on the recon probe conducted towards our ATG positions.
  19. In the center.. The attack here is going very well. The Italians are outgunned, outnumbered and gets outmaneuvered. Garands and BARs force the Italians to leave their positions. Once forced to leave their initial positions they can get outmaneuvered and caught out in the open. In this case, only one man was fast enough throwing his arms in the air. Another building cleared from its Bersagilieri occupants.
  20. At the Grain elevator.. It looks like the enemy is bringing a substantial force to the fight for the Grain elevator. My base of fire has beat them pretty bad whenever they pop up in the objective itself. On the other side, the enemy base of fire will give me an equal problem. I will have to try and stop them from bringing more men to the objective as well as clearing it from the troops that are occupying it right now. Heavy MG fire across the river force some of the occupants to withdraw and when they make a run for it, well placed teams take them out. Looks like my platoon is about to get severely outnumbered. I have another on the way, but will that be enough? In addition to more men, the Italians also sport infantry guns and brixia mortars. This crew hit the dirt as a GI with a scoped Springfield tries his best to occupy them. Another inf gun hits my scouts at the top of the Grain elevator. Its to lethal to stay there and I'll have to give up the excellent spotting location. For now at least.
  21. Thanks snarre! Glad you enjoy it. ----------------- Im gonna go through the four areas where combat is raging at the moment. Pink: The Grain elevator. 1st Bn of 7th Inf Regiment under my command are fighting for control of the tall buildings against Pioneers and Bersaglieri from XII Corps. Yellow: Center, with main road towards the large Duomo. 1st Bn of 7th Inf Regiment under my command are fighting their way towards the Duomo against Bersaglieri from XII Corps. Orange: Duomo and southern blocks. Engineers attached to the US Corps with Tanks from 2nd Armored Division attack towards the Duomo under kohlenklaus command. They are opposed by Panzer Grenaiders from the 15th PzGren Division. Green: Saw mill. Engineers attached to the US Corps with Tanks from 2nd Armored Division attack towards the Duomo under kohlenklaus command attack against Pz Grenaderis from 15th PzGren Div. The Duomo and trench systems in its surroundings are pounded by USS Buck. The old city of Ribera, despite its beautiful architecture, is not deemed important enough to warrant preservation by Allied high command. Engineers and tanks are ready to exploit the suppression as soon as the barrage lifts. A platoon from 1st Bn, 7th Inf Reg is now attached to the Engineers to help bolster the attack. Engineers clear out a trench close to the Duomo. A grenade explodes mid air. At the Saw mill kohlenklaus men are desperately trying to gain a foothold in the mill itself. The Panzergrenadiers are putting up stiff resistance! The Engineers casualties are starting to mount. They need to make better use of smoke and available cover to beat these krauts back. Dont shoot! Engineers are starting to surrender. The Shermans from 2nd Armored Division must carry the day!
  22. Thanks for the input 76mm. I just got Death of the leaping horseman in the mail.. looks really interesting.
  23. Thanks 76mm! Would you say the same thing for Glantz Stalingrad trilogy (quadrilogy?), to the gates, Armageddon, end game?
  24. Has anyone read Barbarossa derailed, by Glantz. If so, would you recommend it?
