  1. Not really a combat vehicle, but then, nor is a 'deuce & a half'.....So why not?
  2. Maybe a VP in future.....I'd absolutely love to see these in CM:RT (along with the Ford GPA and a few others).
  3. TBH I'd happily wait a bit longer for a Ford GPA: Seems a shame to add the whole 'Amphibious Movement' system just for the Schwimmwagen! A lot of the units using them would require some 'creativity' on the part of the scenario designer anyway, so perhaps they could be added in the same way as the Jagdtiger? @Battlefront.com.....Any chance?
  4. If the unit was in C2 at the beginning of the order sequence I don't see an issue with using a Cover-Arc just because the unit temporarily loses contact while executing those orders.

  6. Wow! @Mr.X That map is absolutely lovely.....Could I be really cheeky and grab a copy for conversion to CM:BS? More than happy to test a scenario or two in exchange!
  7. My recommendation.....Make a test in the editor. It will require a little bit of thinking to get it to work just how you need it to and it will help you to familiarise yourself with the post powerful part of the game. PS - I reckon half the scenarios I make start this way; Something comes up in dscussion here, I make some expermental stuff to find my own personal answers, discover something that amuses/impresses/surprises me.....Next thing you know I'm writing a scenario around it.
  8. Primer based? Hope you used the right base-colours.....TBH it's a fekkin minefield! Preserving small units over the duration a long battle on a big map is another decent option for play against the AI.....It's what @MOS:96B2P has done in TOC (CM:BS), Coup (CM:SF2) and the long awaited Alarmheiten (CM:RT) and it's something that I'm using on a couple of my own projects.

  12. Again I'm not sure how that happened.....While LMGs can be aquired by Buddy-Aid, HMGs are treated as crew served, AFAIK once abandoned, they're gone!
  13. I belive 'Blast' can only be used on a linear obstacle, wall, wire etc.....I've never seen CM2 engineers use demolitions charges against mines with an Area Target command (they used to in CM1, TBH they'd chuck 'em at the smallest excuse).
  14. How? The AI can't mount vehicles, only dismount. Are you sure another one didn't spawn as a reinforcement?
  15. If you don't have RT this might be a good time.....There's bound to be a bundle at some point!
  16. Why not try a Panzerschreck team with a timed target order? Put a stack of friendly ammo dumps under the bridge, then have the team spawn via reinforcement and open up with a painted Target Order.....Assuming a Panzerschreck will do the trick (it has to be an explosive weapon AFAIK), you should get a 'chain-detonation' & 'bye-bye bridge'!
