Another good bet would be the OV-1 Mohawk (it was the Army's own): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grumman_OV-1_Mohawk The OV-10 Bronco wasn't used by the Army, but all the other services had them: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/North_American_Rockwell_OV-10_Bronco I'm in the process of getting all the bits to superdetail a 1/72 OV-10A of VAL-4 "Black Ponies".....They're one of my all time favourie aircraft, so cheap, so simple, so rugged, so reliable, so capable, (so we'll buy F-35s instead). Even an A-10 can't swoop in and sweep you off the battlefield if you get hit, but a Bronco can, several of you in fact. Glad they included the SLUF too:

I'll take your word for it, but the term seems to have been quite broadly used for whatever it was that the Sheridan fired. -

Sorry dude, thread confusion on my part, I thought you meant Soviet & hoped it was for the ISU-152 in WWII. I knew about the US round, I'm most used to hearing it referred to as a 'Beehive' round.....I looked for the Sheridan and didn't see it, so I'm assuming this will only be coming from the M60A2 Starship? -

OMFG! I had no idea they made a cannister round! -
Six Engine Propeller Plane?
Sgt.Squarehead replied to Spanish Bombs's topic in General Discussion Forum
Good work @Wicky! As far as I'm concerned that (combined with a bunch of Hercules fans who are absolutely adamant that the C-130C STOL was the only six-engined Hercules ever built) is a complete & thorough debunking of the six-engined Hercules! -
Certainly not intentionally.

So I reloaded my last save and did the last (minus) three turns again, loading up a pair of Strykers and rushing them across improperly scouted ground, to heroically touch the back CP and capture the final objective! So, what did this valiant (TBH borderline suicidal in CM:BS) effort yield me (with two out of three Occupy Objectives, and several Touch Objectives under my belt, a third of the enemy force destroyed, and nothing that can't be fixed with a band-aid on my side)? A f**king draw!

Well, considering the forces at my disposal, and my kill to loss ratio: I am seriously bloody disappointed with that! Got accross the river and took one occupy objectve, plus two or three touch objectives.....I could have taken the final occupy objective and adjacent touch objective, but only with a final-five-turn rush, which IMHO is a tossers way to play CM. Just noticed I failed my parameters.....How the f**k can I fail my parameters without taking a scratch? Because force preservation just wasn't a thing for my 53 valiant scouts.....Apparently they were on a Kamikaze mission.

That would be a shame, it could be improved quite a bit with not too many tweaks, the TOE options are awesome already (although cluster munitions might be fun).....I'm mostly thinking in terms of giving the Syrians better comms and giving the Uncons some comms.

Wrong game by an entire generation. This is a Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord thread.....It is the original game of the CM1 engine. -

Knew their allocation was odd in Vietnam, from H&E research, but that was 'Nam! -

Ummmm..... -
That's a decent idea, something a bit like the (oddly named) 'Daisy-Chain Mines' in CM1.

Using the Pause feature

For me it's usually vehicles chucking them way further than I wanted (and the advertised distance). -
Borderline bloody miraculous I'd say.....Some pratts even downvoted Captain Tom (God Rest Him).

Is that the official "stuff we broke" list?

I'm enjoying the first scenario a lot.....Map's tight but nicely done. Nice picture.....I've had real difficulty getting my BMPs to use their cannon, they keep using missiles & then popping up to reload the bloody thing and we all know how that usually ends! Suspect @THH149 might enjoy this campaign too, he seems to be another Red vs. Red convert.

Playing through it now.....Still scary but it feels like we have a fighting chance now.
