  1. I liked it too.....Liked fire more.
  2. Brrrrrt! "What was that?" Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt! "I can't....." Brrrrrt! Brrrrrt! Brrrrrt! "Hear you!"
  3. Is (part of) the old Spa track on any of the CM:FB maps I wonder? PS - How many fastish unarmed vehicles are there in the game.....Could it be done?
  4. This I think will be the big difference.....I've learned a bit more about the updates to the M1 over the years, at first it's spotting abilities in CM:BS seemed supernatural, mostly because I was still in an 'early Abrams mindset'. I'd really like to see this implemented at some pont.
  5. You sometimes need to create it for yourself: https://community.battlefront.com/announcement/27-special-upgrade-4-tech-tips/
  6. The file is here: https://battlefront.sharefile.com/d-sd312c01f18984eea9c0cb58bda71281b The .cam file that you download replaces the existing file in you Campaigns folder at: User/Documents/Battlefront/Combat Mission Black Sea/Game Files/Campaigns
  7. The term I'm used to is Tube Launched, TBH I guess it depends on who translated the texts.
  8. Go read some threads dude, seriously.....There is much new stuff (& the potential for much more to follow)!
  9. @Haiduk Am I correct in suspecting that this: Is an upgraded T-64BM2? I'm trying to figure out what if anything happened to them.....Mostly for modelling purposes, unsurprisingly.
  10. That sounds excellent.....Could you point me to them please.
  11. I'm having difficulty finding a date.....1980s is about as close as I'm seeing (RAAM, ADAM etc.), can anyone narrow it down a bit? @MikeyD @The_Capt @Bil Hardenberger PS - I think you are right, I'm not seeing much prior to 1987.....Still looking.
  12. They'd have to be very careful to signal limited objectives though, the west had a significant nuclear advantage. Thing is, opening up the timeline this far back, in theory at least, means we can place these units in other timeframes & places (assuming I'm correctly understanding the sandbox idea).....So for example (and assuming I've got this right) we could eventualy have accurately modelled (modded) IS-3s (from one module) in Egyptian service, against accurately modelled (modded) M48s (from another module) in Israeli service, even if no official Arab/Israeli wars game is ever made.
  13. & MLRS.....Don't forget those babies. BTW has any thought been given to FASCAM in CM:CW? It would be cool if it could be implemented in some fashion.
  14. This thread might be in the wrong forum these days. The answer to the question "How To Use BMPs" for CM:SF2 seems to be "Reluctantly". Maybe they'll fare better in the new game.
  15. Here's a better picture showing the screen folded and deployed: You can see how the front section folded forward to fit over the gun support which acted as a seal (mentioned in The Cheiftain's video IIRC). Good online guide to the type here: https://www.tankarchives.ca/2017/02/the-amazing-strv-103.html Which points out the probable source of confusion: "The Swedes began testing another improvement with these tanks. Work on anti-HEAT shields began in 1966 during the search for additional protection. Initially, the idea was to install them on the sides, but began changing later. The Strv 103 received screens on its sides, as well as a two part screen in front. Later, it evolved into an unusual system of pins inserted into the front of the hull. This system could effectively defeat HEAT shells." My emphasis added.
  16. Investing in a few extra trenches and foxholes (and a couple of dudes who can run really fast) might be worthwhile then.....It's the Seelow Heghts all over again!
  17. That's the flotation screen. Check out David Willey's video at 14:58 & 18:41.
  18. I'd like the timeline to go backwards too.....Starting around 1949. Come on, who wouldn't want to play with these guys:
  19. Spotted that.....Was hoping it might be 'On-Map' as they make the best noise ever when they fire (4.22 for fine example):
  20. TBH it really doesn't come any more cold war than this track from Pink Floyd (1983):
  21. I think I read elsewhere that they are wearing them on their faces while looking at cameras.
