  1. Battle of the Bulge has so many interesting what if's as well. But even with the what if's in mind, the historical battles alone are epic. I cant wait for a FOY scenario taking straight out of "Band of Brothers" where is Capt' Spears! Price.... I hate talking about price... If you have to ask how much, then you cant afford it. I love playing Battlefront not only because the games are very well done, but the forums and the entire battlefront family if you will have always been helpful, informative and well, pretty damn cool.   4. Thanks Dragonwynn. My last update I did fixed all the issues, thanks to some good people in helping me understand how the AI plan works. But yeah, it would be nice to have official video of how it works as the book is somewhat difficult to follow without seeing it performed.

  6. I got done reading the book " The Moscow Option"An Alternative Second World War by David Downing. I have to say with only a couple changes it was very interesting. AH is in the Hospital in a coma.. Plane wreck, and Keitel is dead. It begins just about the time in 41 when they decide to either take Kiev or instead head to Moscow. The Generals agree to attack Moscow because of its communication, industry, and Rail network, also that it would cut off Leningrad and perhaps the Finns would assist the war effort more... it succeeds and by I think mid 1943 they control everything west of the Volga.. there is much more, as Malta is taken, and Rommel succeeds in N. Africa as some divisions had been freed as well as Air Power in Russia. The end gets a little vague and interesting but it was a decent read. The Germans needed time I think. Probably option 3 if were talking 1942, the Germans were so good at counter-attacking, and the German Army was fairly strong at the time, losing 6th Army was a huge blow, and that of the DAK by the end of 42-begin 43. Probably Defend and send some secondary units from Norway, France etc to the DAK, along with a Panzer Brigade. invade Malta at the same time defending in Russia.. Goal is to keep pressure on the UK, and take Egypt and enter Iraq and take the oil there... Then.. maybe Turkey enters the war? who knows. but there are a lot of interesting what ifs.

Not sure if this happened to anyone yet, but when using my Engineers to blow a wall and enter a building.. they blow the wall, but head the other way and enter the house from a different direction.. obviously not what you want them to do. There was a door for them to use, but they chose to go around an entire block to enter it from the front.. anyone else seen that yet. I have not patched the game yet.. But will be doing that today.
  8. Yep, and there are less "K" rounds in the bunkers. I know for the scenario I just finished, there are a total of 4 Supply trucks for the Germans. 2 of which have the K rounds, so about 1K rounds from the Supply trucks. there is also one bunker but has minimal K rounds avail. I thought this was appropriate as the Germans have around 2 Company's worth of troops and some scouts and pioneers. Still would have to be used sparingly. A 5 min firefight usually dwindles the MP40 and Stg44 ammo pretty good.
  9. Strange, my supply trucks depending on which ones are in game carry 500rounds of the "K" ammunition. Its possible to get the wrong supply trucks. Some only carry HMG ammo, with Panzerfaust and Panzerschreck ammo. Some carry a lot of 7.92 ammo, 9mm ammo with x2 Panzerfaust and the "K" ammo. I believe there are 3 different supply trucks. Also in creating scenarios as discussed earlier. It really depends on how well they are outfitted, which can be adjusted.

  11. I apologize for any issues with the Scenario. Hopefully I can get some help with the AI. I took it of of GreenAsJade's site until I can get it fixed. I again am sorry, everthing was fine... now the AI is all buggered.
  12. Thanks, I probably spent over 200 hours on the bloody scenario. Dear God.. .programming the AI can be intereting. But everything works. Head to Head play would be my guess very interesting. You can only do so much with the AI. As for the map, yes I tried to make the map a semi realistic place that made sense.
  13. Ok everyone I swear that was my last update. If anyone wishes to test it further that would be great. For some reason the AI decided to intermittently work even with one plan simplified.. Bazzar if you ask me.. sometimes it would work sometimes not. I just tested it another 4 times... ALL AI Plans are working.   16. So I am finding out that having AI Infantry carry out complicated missions.. is bad. I re-worked the Russian AI, it is simplified yet again and tested. unfortunately I had to minimize their plans to just one each, (for some of them) still effective but simplified. It was my fault as I altered the Scenario length by 30min. This affected some of the AI?? Anyways I want to apologize to all those who have already uploaded the file.   17. I just updated the Russian AI. I made the mistake of adding more time to the scenario which I did not realize affected the AI time continuim... So I fixed the AI (should work as planned now) with their multiple plans. I also added a platoon of Russian ISU-152 just in case it was too easy for the German player. Fixed the Russian trench lines so they have a better LOS. Let me know how else I can make this better in anyway. Juergen.
  18. Hello everyone, I have finally downloaded one of my scenarios I have been working on for some time. Clash of Titans is a hypothetical scenario where you play as the Germans vs AI, or Head to Head. The Scenario is located here http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/mods?game_type=7&show_all=true at GreenAsJade's site. As this is my first upload I would appreciate your feedback. Its not the first scenario I have created but I want to get as much feedback as possible. The Battle is Huge so I have included in the description my computer specs, it ran fine but sometimes got a little slow, but did not make anything unbearable. Note also that it does take, at least my computer 6 minutes to load.. patience is a virtue for some. Again its a hypothetical scenario that depicts elements of the 24th Panzer Division along with elements of the 505th sPz.Abt. with their newly acquired Tiger II tanks. I liked the fact that both depict Cavalry, and the map you will find is suitable for combat ranges of up to and over 2000m Russian AI has 2-3 plans each and should be decent for replay ability. Soviet forces include JS-2 tanks and other forces. Head to Head their are some notes, but it really depends on the skill of players, obviously the Soviet forces will have quantity of men and material, but I left some Designer notes that may be helpful.   20. Nice chart Tripps. I miss some of the features from the old game but Red Thunder is a blast. Just on a side note.. I am in the process of finalizing a scenario.. and I have to say some epic Tank duels.. I forgot to turn my fraps on, but there was a Panther T34/85 duel from around 1800-2100m When the duel was over, x3 T-34/85's were knocked out and a JS-2 (Early) was knocked out as it stumbled its way into the melee. I should have it ready by late next week, cant wait as it will be my first upload.
  21. That's great to hear.. glad you got the total victory. Yeah, I have been concentrating lately on getting my scenario out by early next week.. if all goes well. I would like to finish the Campaign, I have just been busy. The only problem I have with scenarios like this, is that you have to get really gamey.. in order to have victory.. to me its not the most favorable type, in which you have to move certain assets to a certain spot to obtain such a victory, but I am glad you have accomplished the 1st scenario. I do agree the Artillery lasts to long and the Russians can run into it themselves.
  22. Hello everyone, just thought I would start a wish list for any future vehicle packs that may come out, 1. Sd.Kfz. 7 Would be nice to have the large prime mover, its iconic. 2. Horch 108 "Einheits-PKW der Wehrmacht" A heavy and Medium variant 3. Volkswagen Schwimmwagen 4. Sdkfz.6/1 Slightly smaller then the Sdkfz. 7 Perhaps later when we see a earlier dates: 1. KV-85 2. KV-1 3. KV-2
  23. I am currently working on a HUGE project that should be finished early next week. its called "Clash of Titans" which will throw some King Tigers against JSII, and JSI tanks. I wont tell you a lot... but I have worked on it for about a month and a half.. It is a Hypothetical encounter between the 505 sPz.Abt. and the 31st Guards Heavy Tank Regiment. (at work know and don't have my notes in front of me) There are sub forces and goals for each side.. I have designed it to be played as German vs Soviet Forces or hopefully Head to Head. When I upload it next week on the Repository.. hopefully I can get some play testers. I spent about a week or two just on the map.. and many flavor objects to add a immersive detail from almost anywhere on the map. I have tried to use as many Real Life names as I could find for the correct Company I was using for the Germans. Pz.Abt 505 and the Panzer grenadier Company I also used from the 24th Pz. Division. The Scenario is not historically accurate but I wanted the players to feel immersed and feel as if this battle could have taken place. x1 town.. German.. Refit & Repair area, a Depot area, and a Rail, telegraph building plus an area of local inhabitants and shops. X1 Rail station x1 Rail Storage area X1 large Farm x1 Village Russian side, basically rural within a somewhat forested area. basic village but detailed. Rail bridge Road bridge somewhat hidden Ford location. Located near a previous battle. The lay of the land is of low lying land with an occasional bump.??
