ok back to the subject of these bloody Engineers and Pionere's. I want to make a scenerio where Engineers have to advance quickly and blow a bridge to bits before the enemy crosses. How the heck do you have your engineers target a bridge?

That is pretty jacked up... I have been waiting for 12 plus years for a campaign system where you could play from start to finnish, and possibly change the outcome of the War. Battlefront is great, and is extremely popular and has a huge fan base. It strikes me odd.... does anyone listen to the people actually purchasing these games in what we want.. they know that if the Masses want something they will pay for it.. so it strikes me odd why they wont fullfill our gaming desires. ahh heck... I will still play CMBB and CMAK but without anything changing it will get old eventually. 2 cents.

Im new to the entire Mod thing..and my question here is, if I rename the Mod.. does this still overwrite my bmp. from the game or not. If Im moding a tank will it give me more choices in game if I rename the Bmp. ie.. can I have a SS version of Panzers, and Heer, and Soviet Guards and reg Soviet mechanized if I rename or do I have to keep switching mods all the time whenever I decide I want to create my own scenerio and such?

hopeduly this will lead to the Re-vamping... of CMBB, CMAK, and a Western european theatre campaing that would allow a start to finish. IE.. 1939 to 1945. That would be great, there were many good battles between the Axis and Allied forces from 1939-1940-41 on the Western front and Balkans. Juergen

I guess I have another question... possibly somewhat related to CMC, and CMO. Is Battlefront going to come out with a new version for the Western Theatre, I would love to play the Poles, or even the French, Belgiun forces. It would be nice to take a division from start to finish, like you can in Talonsoft's West Front or East FrontII. Just putting that out there if any Admins from Battlefront are Listening, I know it would take some development, and Battlefront is on the right track, but I know there are more persons out there that would love to play campaingns where you can change History somewhat, not totaly but somewhat. Falcon 3.0 was great, in that depending on how your squadron did, it could change the tactical, and somewhat strategic deployment of enemy forces, if you consistantly did well, then you were doing great damage to the enemy and you could see your progress on the Strategic map... somewhat of an analogy I was trying to make, that you could possibly do with a great game from Battlefront. Hats off to all of you at Battlefront... I love playing..and as a consumer I always want more....more...and more.. Juergen.

Question... will you be able to change the outcome of the Campaigns you enter? IE... will you be able to organize the soviets more effectively, can the Axis forces take Stalingrad? Basically can you change the outcome of the Theatre your in... North, Central or South? even though you only command I think up to a Division, you can still wreak havoc on the enemy? Can you command different types of Divisions, Motorized, Panzer, Waffen SS? Can your Spearhead destroy Soviet, Axis Resistance, thus allowing you easy manouverability to a designated target, such as Stalingrad, Smolensk, a possible bridgehead or are the Campaigns pre-generated with the same units? Does what you do effect the Overall campaign?

Hello, I have been playing CMBB-CMAK for along time and am extremely curious and need help with a certain situation. Sometimes when I save a battle, different play options occur. for instance sometimes I save a battle and all playable options are available. Then if I edit my battle or sometimes after I create a new battle the Single player option is not available. Can anyone help me with this issue, I dont understand why it changes... and I do nothting different.. Please Help. Juergen

Where can I download these Mods from? I have had both BB and Cmak for a long time, are the mods easy to collect from one source? Juergen

I have a question, I have been playing Hearts of Iron and other strategic simmulation for a long time.... board games like Advanced Squad Leader, panzer Leader and many others...all which you mostly likely have all played. Question: Will I be able to rename my Units to my liking, I think this provides more detail. thanks Juergen

Ok this is kind of getting to be a problem....I have posted some issues earlier and Matt and Shrullenhaft have been a big help. I have downloaded all current drivers for everything....and I mean everything. I have a Abit amd K7 Nvidia 64mb MX400 a Ensoniq 32bit sound card. the problem is this in either CMBB or CMAK after game play for either 2-23 turns or soo it locks up, the screen freezes and makes a weird sound. So Im thinking it is because I need a new sound card or I need to unclock my computer back to 1ghz instead of 1.27 Any other suggestions.....would be greatly appreciated. Jurgen

Also I am going to unclock my machine....from 1.2ghz back to the original 1ghz. We will see if that changes anything tommorow...or by Wednsday. Jurgen

Yeah I have just downloaded all current drivers...even for the board and sound card...Im thinking I need to upgrad my soundcard...its beeen about 3 years!! I hope I can get it to work...I really want to play all the scenerios and would like to play the scenerios and campaigns of my design...this is the ultimate game...but this crash is killing everything. I hope you too Praxis can resolve this...evedintely Matt and Shrullnhaft are the experts... I really doubt it is a heating problem...my machine is more than capable of handling this software. I think it is the sound card. let me know if you come up with any answers and I will do the same....good luck comrad!!

well I have sound blaster PCI....not sure what that means but it may be an old card...I dont remember it locking up in the 2D mode but when it was in 3D placing units and such I think it locked up...it defenitely locks up in game play..often....Im going to Kill my Messenger...make myself logged off...but I have no one messaging me...anyhow good point. I think your right about the sound...there is alot going on..and at times maby that is why.. I will check out some sound cards...do you know of any that is compatible with a AMD Athelon and my graphics card is a Nvidia64mb card sdram. Thanks for your help with this...I relly appreciate it. Well I have a sound blaster sound card....but not sure if thats the case since most sound cards are not very advanced....and this game looks like it does not reqire a state of the art card or perhaps maby they should have specified...? Just a little mmffdd about both of these games....both scoring in the 90% as being awesome...I have yet to see them perform as stable platforms...and my machine has been running the best games for the past 2 years. I am really clueless...and so is my roomate...who is a wizard at problem solving.... I have never seen this kind of crash before....I even switched mouses..from intillimouse to old school...that was not the case either...and not sure if it is sound related...because it crashed while in the editor. Again I am at a loss here. Can anyone help...or give suggestions...Im begining to feel I just blew 70.oo on two games I would like to play....but cannot without it crashing every 1-3 20 turns...or even in the editor. James

Well it could be a little better than the voodoo 2...I will have to check...However there is no consistancy of crashing... But when it does the screen freezes in whatever was going on and you hear this fast beating sound over an d over again like a really bad drum beat or something. nah nah nah nah nah nah nah.. anyway its hard to describe. My machine has never had any over heating problems at all so I really doubt thats the case..... I have played many games where graphics were alot better than CMAK or CMBB. It is a big engine however. Last night I played CMAK for about 4 hours and it locked up only 3 times. I played CMBB and it locks up whenever it feels its time. I have downloaded the latest patch for CMBB and will try it again tonight. Thanks James

Hello and can anyone help sort this out. Basically im running Windows XP voodoo 2 and have AMD Athlon i think it is K7 it is a 1.3ghz 40gig hard drive with 512megs of ram. Have updated all of my drivers 9.0 from micrsoft. Basically the games run fine for awhile and then either crash during editing, replaying the battles or just basically in the game from time to time, Im running the 1.03 patch for CMBB and they say you do not need the patch for CMAK since I have purchased both of them via mail. Can somone please tell me what else I can do...or have any suggestions. Thank you. James
