  1. My only hitch in my giddy up would be BF not venturing into the earlier WWII timelines with CM, like North Africa 41-43 or the Eastern front 41-43... Hopefully these time periods /theaters will be visited with a module or something down the road as these are my (and others I am sure) favorite years of WWII for wargaming. Thanks for the explanation(s) Steve and the great products over the past decade and a bit. You guys have a loyal purchaser here, I do not see that changing any time soon.
  2. I thinks so, not sure. The gif is very fitting for Norton 360 users though.
  3. Yes, I forgot to add and I agree, it is a clumsy interface.
  4. I would even settle for this something like this sound bite:
  5. You can click on "Submit Date", "Author", etc, to sort.
  6. Agree. At the start of a scenario or for rally points and such, the formation feature would be a time saver imo. Always wanted that to be in CMx1 as well (still do ) . Otherwise, I am with what GeorgeMC mentioned to a point (loose formations, taking advantage of terrain).
  7. You know, I was thinking the same thing. I decided not to bother with a response however.
  8. Ok. What about land? Can craters, that are created near a water tile flood? I guess that is what I was trying to say in my previous post.
  9. So, I may have missed the discussion somewhere... Is it possible to have an engineer blow certain land features to cause a flood during a game? Could artillery do this as well? Just curious.
  10. ...Could be some people, like myself, downloaded the scenario, but have not got around to playing it yet if ever. I can say the same thing for all of the hundreds of CMx1 scenarios and ops that I have downloaded over the years... I collect them doesn't mean I get around to using them. So how can I comment on them? I appreciate all designers hard work, I really do, I just do not have time to barely play the game yet alone write a detailed AAR or comment. Sorry.
  11. Yep sure would be nice for the engine to be open source for the community... love the time lines that CMBB and CMAK can cover. Early to mid war (late 43) are my favs.
  12. Good man. Same with me. Imo, Avast > AVG. My Dad just purchased a new laptop, first thing I did when I went to his place to set it up for him (he is not that tech savy) was ditch and pitch the Norton crap. With his blessing I might add.
  13. You using stock cooler's with that overclocking? I would assume not, Corsair? Supposedly I can get my AMD (FX chip) 3.6 GHz up to 5.0 GHz talking with my tech peeps. Not sure I want to try as I like where I am at for now.
  14. My specs for my Cyberpower Workstation I picked up about a year ago; Processor: AMD FX-8150 Eight-Core Processor 3.6 GHz RAM: 16.0 GB System Type: Win 7 64-Bit OS Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 550 Ti, 1 GB All CMx1 and CMx2 work for me on this rig. Obviously with a HD monitor (16:10 aspect ratio in my case) and CMx1 you want to turn the aspect ratio to 4:3 to prevent distortion of the graphics within CMx1 games. Otherwise all good.
  15. Win 7 64 bit works so... With Vista you may have issues with PBEM games, I think finding the PBEM file was a pain or something not sure?? I went from WinXP to Win 7, I didn't like what I had heard about Vista so I stuck it out with XP until a couple of years ago.
