Hiya Guys Me and a friend of mine are contemplating our first venture into a PBEM match. As we are both fairly "green" when it comes to CMBN could you please advise what would be a good balanced map to start with? Cheers Spartan

I`m a Newbie as well. I`ve had the game a while but only really just started to get "into" it. I think I did things the wrong way round - attempted "Courage and Fortitude" straight away, after a little dip into the demo - NOT a good idea! Then moved onto "The Scottish Highway", a little better, but again not ideal when your just starting out. After getting very frustrated at my tactical and strategic inability I left the game alone for a while. Then after reading the forums, and specifically how this Campaign was a good one to begin with, I tried again, and I have to say what a good decision that was. The fact that you only have to mainly deal with infantry, and you haven`t got allsorts going on all over the map, leading me to confusion, has helped me enormously to understand how to manoeuver, and look after my troops. I finished that campaign and am currently playing "Road to Montebourg", which seems to be a nice progression from "Devils Descent", and I`m really enjoying myself. Thanks very much guys. I do know the Engineers can destroy a wooden and barbed wire roadblock, cos its done in one of the Armchair General videos - think its one of the Courage and Fortitude missions. Cheers Rob

Hiya Guys I was hoping you might be able to help me please. I`m playing the "Road to Montebourg" (2nd mission I think), and I am trying to get my Pioneers and Engineers to blast a way through the Steel X`s (not sure what the proper terminology is!!) road block so I can get my tanks moving down the road. But Im having no success at all. I can get them to blast through bocage and walls etc. but not these things - is it possible, or do I need to find another route for my tanks? Cheers Rob

Hiya Guys I`m new to this game and have been reading lots of threads, and watching lots of videos whilst running through the tutorial missions. One thing I have read on a number of occassions is people saying they "selected" area fire for their tanks. Is there another option, apart form area fire, and if so what is it, and how do you select it? Cheers
