I know I would not be purchasing it... but that is just me.

Oh I know that, however imo it should be last on the list, like after the periods I listed. I like my German armor /combined forces /blitzkrieg type forces. I rarely use the Allied stuff in CM... and I have no interest in the Japanese ground forces. Just my two cents.

Please BFC do not waste your time with the Pacific at this time... besides that theater is meant for naval wargames and aircraft simulator's imo. In other words I have no interest in that area for Combat Mission. I would rather your resources go towards the Eastern Front. Hopefully (begging) you will venture towards the early war years as well... Eastern Front Barbarossa-late 1943, North Africa 41-43 for example. These are the theaters that I would appreciate (I am sure I am not alone) the most, way before the Pacific is even considered.

If you haven't watched the Canadian biased documentary on Wittmann's Last Battle, I posted a link a couple of posts back... imo it was not a Typhoon rocket that did him in, as described in the documentary. I don't think it was the Brit Firefly either. Wittmann's Tiger was moving hull down because of the "very small slope"/rise that the Brit Firefly had to sight over to see Wittmann's Tiger @ over 900m (mentioned in the doc). At 143-150m, more than likely a keyholed flank or rear shot, the Canadian's ended the Black Baron's life.

Ok, thanks for the info. The "an interesting historical simulation experience" is exactly what I am looking for. Can't wait for someone to code this down the road... and what else the fantastic map you have created can manifest with this community.

How far back into 1942 would these mods be able to get eventually, considering module updates for CMFI? El Alamein? This would be limited because of vehicle types for that time period I assume? I really would appreciate a Gazala '42 time period mod at some point if possible.

4) You have clicked on way points and given orders right? Ex. like at waypoint two, clicking on it you can give further orders to the unit. Ex. pause for 30 sec., or target briefly, or make an armor or target cover arc, or hide, etc... this applies to every waypoint.

Sounds great noob. I might have to come out of my shell and try it. Only trouble for me are DAR's /AAR's, as I have only so much time for gaming and really do not have it for making DAR's /AAR's. I nit pick way too much, so it would take me way to long to make one up. That is what makes me ask this question... As I am more of a solo against the AI kind of gamer, is it possible to have the AI take over the operational aspect in Panzer Campaign's? If not I guess I could try it being both sides. I would assume CM battles that result from the PzC's layer wouldn't be an issue played solo against the AI? Thanks for your effort with this project.

Sigh... for me it is the Eastern Front 41-late 43 and North Africa 41-43. At least with CMFI it can be modded for the North African theater, so that is good news as I am not sure if BF will go there, unfortunate if so. One of the reasons CMAK and CMBB are still spinning for me.
