But they just laid down and died…except for the Reavers.

Before seeing the video, I envisioned the SU flying alongside of the drone then sliding in front and releasing fuel.  The actual approach is much more dangerous as the pilot loses sight of the drone in the final moments.  Considering the closing speed this is far too risky, to my mind it would be far safer to approach from below where the pilot could keep the drone in view for the entire encounter.

I have said it before, and I will say it again

This is the ONE thing I agreed on with our former President.  Our NATO partners needed to contribute more to their own defense and live up to the NATO agreements.  Relying on the US is no defense plan, sure we would live up to our agreement, but there must be some kind of local contribution to hold the line, or at least slow the advance until everyone was up to speed.

What I DID NOT agree with was his threat to leave NATO unless everyone snapped to attention and caved into his tantrum.

I also think that and I also think the franco-german brigade is a good example that this could work on a larger, lets call it NORTHAG / CENTAG / SOUTHAG scale for the whole EU, at least I hope so, but we are not there yet and lets be honest, without US support the EU isn´t capable to supply and defend itself against any large scale aggressor for any meaningful time. However we need to get to that point better sooner than later, because it really would be more than shameful if US-boys would have to come across the atlantic again for a third time within two centuries to save half of europes asses from an autocratic aggressor going on a rampage across europe.

It has been a while since we have seen that many Deere tractors heading towards customers.  I live just a few miles from their HQ and my wife along with several other family/friends are employed by Deere.  

For the last few years their staging yards have been packed with "almost" complete equipment, ready to ship except for the key micro-chips needed to run the darn things.  Imagine if something as benign as tractors are delayed by a chip shortage, what the impact is on high tech military equipment with more specialized chips.  Then add sanctions to the mix and you start to get an idea of some of the problems RU is facing.

It has been a while since we have seen that many Deere tractors heading towards customers.  I live just a few miles from their HQ and my wife along with several other family/friends are employed by Deere.  

For the last few years their staging yards have been packed with "almost" complete equipment, ready to ship except for the key micro-chips needed to run the darn things.  Imagine if something as benign as tractors are delayed by a chip shortage, what the impact is on high tech military equipment with more specialized chips.  Then add sanctions to the mix and you start to get an idea of some of the problems RU is facing.

I work in a factory producing earth-moving equipment. Our production last year was sporadically disrupted by the lack of Engine Control Units until about September. Supplies seem to have stabilised since then. There were other disruptions, too, but those have largely settled out, as well. 
Edit: should clarify that I'm in the UK, and not denying in any way that the sanctions on the RF are going to make their lives difficult, merely offering a view on the situation on "our side" starting to stabilise a bit.

That's an internal confliction within an absurdity. A state backed digital coinage issued by China, first taken up by Russia, then the tiny number of other pariah states, then some more tin pot banana republics in the Third World... Is going to somehow undercut the Western backed,  already in use, easy to trade and deeply familiar American Dollar?
