one of my favourites too. A treat to play and revel in the historical accuracy.  Bravo George!

Here's my result (albeit only on Warrior):

With a lot of luck I got all 7 Tigers to the end, including of course Wittmann's.  One lost its main gun early in the action, adding to the stress.  Kept it along for the support / deception anyway...
Most of my 7 tank losses were in front of Gaumesnil walled compound ☹️ but overall not bad at all.
Not too happy about the 'acceptable' British Ground and the Failed 'targets' and 'parameters' as they only had a few casualties left in those postions, but never mind.
Great scenario, great map, thanks to @George MC
FWIW I sent the Tigers slowly and cautiously towards the edge of the woods on the right flank and eventually managed to get the infantry support on that flank quite a long way up the map.  Meanwhile the other armour on the left flank did a great job, reinforced by the Panthers and Jagdpanzers.  I seemed to have a lot of Panzer IVs and most were on the right supporting the Tigers and killing Shermans coming down that side.  Both objectives were captured and at the end we all sat and relaxed for half an hour drinking ersatz coffee with no opposition showing.  Great scenario.

I am bald like the back of a hand, injustice makes me lose my hair by handfuls !!!👨‍🦲
however at that time or in the totalitarian regimes "take the hair of the beast" (expression which I suspect too French which can be translated like: becoming the rule) the Cromwel's wart must be like a fish in water (expression which I think is sufficiently pictorial)🐟
I have at least one merit, without having posted any image, it is to be present in the ranking even if it is negative !!!!
Courage Vacilllator, light will eventually pierce the darkness.
Well the photo of the humbers is superb. Okay

Very interesting video even for me who lives in the middle of this landscape.
The modification of the landscape is particularly accelerating in recent years
Until the 1980s the landscape had changed little. What a battles I have done as a child with my comrades, the clay balls replacing the grenades and the Sten and other Thompson made of wood looked great. The small size of the fields and the labyrinth of sunken lanes were a wonderful playground, but for the war !!
Combat in this environment is close to urban combat but in 2D there is no hight level
Visibility rarely exceeds 30m and with vegetation it is not uncommon to literally step on your opponent to see him.

I could, the scenario really was not designed that way... just a semi-historical account of Barkmann's action that day with extra firepower from the Allies.  Let me work on it this weekend, and I will try and put something out early next week.  I will need time to play test it.

Your picture made me laugh, my Panther looked the same, lost both its main gun and its tracks but thanks to the infantry survived to hopefully fight another day.

there at 20 m there is the house: if the combat group seizes it that will give me time to deploy myself and the game is won.
I divide the group, I leave the anti-tank group in support. I attack with in mind the team of the group leader and in second the group BAR
    the moment is decisive!
I click on the red button and hold my breath. The group leader's team is in the lead of a fraction of a second. It's okay, she's reached the door when on the left the ominous grinding of an MG 42 reveals her.
This is the drama 2 man of the group leader collapses and 3 of the BAR group
and there it is the surprise instead of moving back to their starting position, the group leader and the last able-bodied man rushes into the house where he curls up. Behind, the last survivor of the BAR group retreated to the starting position from where it is closest.
Terrible and awesome:  j'adore ce jeu !!!
I have multiplied the tests there is no more banzai and multiple realistic behaviors like the one described before occur but also and fortunately absurdities as in real life.
I wanted to wait for some feedback to put this patch, then I told myself that the best was to test myself
if you have any doubts, it works.

    Hi
Finally, during the holidays, I found time to improve my campaign. Known bugs removed in several missions added (small) minefields location depending on the AI plan.
    Mod with Polish uniforms added.

yes happy to report that this first scenario which started all the wailing and gnashing of teeth back in the day, is now behaving as expected - with the Boche staying Boche rather than Turning Japanese.

Tried a few battles and the opening mission of The Scottish Corridor for a test. So far our old friend the hedgerow gap charge has failed to put in an appearance. Units are cowering, regaining their composure and then resuming the fight. Once I've finished my current RT campaign I'll be getting back to Normandy. Exits stage right singing "Oliver's Army" badly -->
