  1. also seeing same behaviour as 4.01 - I started a fresh Scottish corridor campaign with 4.02 and within 4 turns the German outposts are running towards my positions... (see western edge of map for behaviour) https://www.dropbox.com/s/gta5hjdn9abpofk/The Scottish Corridor 003.bts?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/mb6a5awjxpwwuhg/The Scottish Corridor 004.bts?dl=0
  2. I don't know, but there have been reports of crashes after playing for an extended period of time. Although this sounds like a different problem. Might be worth logging a helpdesk ticket and upload the offending save game.
  3. I love this series of scenarios! Currently playing 7.30am VP version. Thankyou for creating these Pete.
  4. I have previously sent in a report and save game of observed poor evading decisions using Mark's supplied test scenario, so whatever the cause I hope it's found and fixed quickly - CMBN bocage is my favourite landscape to play in! cheers
  5. I have just observed 'banzai' behaviour (evading towards enemy fire) in CMBN 4.01 through gaps in high stone walls.... so it's not just high bocage.
  6. bocage banzais in new CMBN 4.01 patch I have attached an example of an AI German defending unit running through a bocage gap directly towards enemy fire. To replicate, load file and press replay. At around 46 second mark, observe German squad on the West edge of the map behind Tall bocage take fire and then run through the gap towards enemy fire, with predictable results! https://www.dropbox.com/s/ctym4em0eimbpj7/The Scottish Corridor 008.zip?dl=0 This is a campaign game save file.
  7. 40 Metre wide hexes I believe, but that should not stop a good brawl on your map
  8. Just firing it up and wondering about 'best played as..'. Assuming Allies vs Ai, but what about h2h? Cheers
  9. Just flagging what I think may be an issue with TCP turn play we're experiencing with patched CMRT. Have had multiple CTD's (on both machines) and once the turn ended with 9 seconds left on the clock and the 'continue' button not showing. I will do some troubleshooting with my opponent and report back but I've already ruled out internet connection stability being an issue at either end. We have played dozens of times with 4.0 and earlier without any disconnects at all. I'd be interested to see if any other TCP players are seeing any issues with the new patch...
  10. I checked and unfortunately no, @CMFDR.
  11. Hmm I have an Aris churchill Vii mod and Aris Marder IIIM mod for CMBN/CW... if that is of any use. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nejrbxeovset3nk/AAAVi0MgBKFT4bGCUGCPLIxca?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/sh/kqx6k089b2w60i1/AAAwatynyQi9vvp3BvoPcb0Aa?dl=0
  12. try a LAN game with your bro and see if you can replicate. If so, send info to Support.
  13. Steve, can I please ask about how are we (royal) on track for the WWII V4 patches releases? Tanks in advance!
  14. Spring time for Hitler when we get the new modules! oh bother; apologies.
  15. Assign an effects on and off key in the settings menu. I use caps lock. Then tap it before you end planning phases, and tap again at the start of the replay.
  16. hmm I remember testing this with you in a quick MP game. Everything worked fine. I'd suggest there's a firewall, router ISP, PC or install issue at play here!
  17. I am a bit surprised that a patch will be issued soon for SF2 rather than the WW2 titles. But perhaps the upcoming V4 patch will benefit further from the work gone into the SF2 patch.
  18. Thanks z1812, that's a nice addition that I hadn't noticed before. Screen looks even better with the filter set quite low. cheers!
  19. Reshade does some weird stuff when the game is computing its turn or in a game file load screen. Haven't noticed any improvement in the different versions released over time but it's a minor problem compared to the visual improvements it makes to the game.
  20. create a profile for the game exe using the nvidia control panel - and then turn off FXAA within that profile.
  21. It's like going from too much cover to not enough! Definitely worth the purchase, there are plenty of scens where it's not just flat polder. Would also vote for getting the brilliant scenario pack by Jon Sowden, and the vehicle pack for extra authenticity.
  22. Think of a collection of rar files as one file but chunked down into separate files for portability. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAR_(file_format)
