gave this a shot (btw it's display size.txt) but no difference that I could discern. Then again, I have an nvidia card and the game has always behaved better on them, this poster has an AMD card.

sometimes its the intro video not playing properly and everything stops. Hold down V and at the same time launch the game, that should disable the startup video.

if you look in the start menu under the battlefront games folders, you should find the activate game shortcuts.
