  1. +1. Would be good not having to use a magnifying glass to interpret the ui readout when we are talking upgrading monitors from 1920x1080 :-)
  2. Thank you Sir. I thought there was a separate file for CMFI.
  3. Hello chaps, can anyone help me with a link to Vein's CMFI commonwealth inf mod? cheers chris
  4. speaking of Cmx3, hope the dev(s) has taken a good look at the Vulkan API.
  5. I'm quite grateful that the enforced 1 minute pause was added in to TCP play and has been bug-fixed along the way. If you have the luxury of an opponent in the same time zone, this is a brilliant way to play the game, particularly with voice comms. Another advantage of this style of play is that you can knock off a small/medium QB over a couple of evenings rather than a protracted 6 week period via pbm. I get that you can't rewind but I have put that down to being more 'realistic' in a way. This is a more 'seat of the pants' style of play than pbm.
  6. just finished this scenario last night and it's been a great experience. Some very tense firefights with some wonderful game engine touches, such as a Pz IV receiving a penetrating round at the very top of its front turret, with the crew luckily surviving (although I think they have now dubbed the gunner 'Lefty') and panicking off for a while then rallying and re-manning the vehicle later in the game. Panzermike has constructed a very crafty setup and you will be challenged for sure.
  7. ah ok I see this when I am panning in the command phase, so pls ignore.
  8. use right mouse button to "look around", ^^ This is pretty much the only time I see major stutter, like down to a 2-3 fps sometimes , when using the rmb to sweep left and right, up down. Otherwise everything's reasonably smooth.
  9. incredible! Thank you and welcome to the community!
  10. queue tree grog 'issues'. Personally I vote the Hetz as the Setz-iest. It's the camo that gets me. cheers (off for a cold shower; what was that libido de-hancing chemical again?)
  11. one H2H player is worth like 33 lesser men From a purist point of view I agree. And I would love to see BFC add more dev time into the MP aspect of the game. Realistically though, BFC need to pay their power and hosting bills, and the H2H fanbase ain't going to cover even that. Still, we can dream that in future the new cmVR(tm) system will be shown some love., \cheers
  12. +1, I remember reporting issues with fortifications to BFC helpdesk with CMBN v3 tcp/ip games.
  13. yes have noticed that as well. To me it looks like an enormous drop in frame rate and then a recovery a few seconds later.
  14. It turned me into a newt! ... ...I got better.... .... and I got the game within 4 hrs, so it got better as well!
  15. regardless of speeds, beats the hell out of waiting for the postman.
  16. not necessary, the 3.0 installer will overwrite the old installs as required
  17. The CMBN 3,0 upgrade is different from CMFI upgrade as it includes all files for all modules, so that's why it's 10GB. If you later decide to buy other CMBN modules you just need to enter the serial and they will be instantly available in your game.
  18. Wise move. The Matrix version of Combat Mission is much easier to install. cheers
  19. Well what are they going to do, lodge a ticket with the unknown third party? I'd be annoyed too if I was seemly locked out of an application that minutes prior was working fine. I think many people overestimate most people's understanding of technical Things. cheers
  20. But in this case they did due to the outage. And railed on BF, rightly so. Perhaps BF should ask their copy protection authorisation provider nicely to investigate failover systems or some kind of redundancy.
  21. thanks for the patch, could I please have confirmed that it contains the latest TCP/IP Wego fixes as supplied in the CMRT 1.02 patch? cheers
  22. Does the patch include the updated/corrected QB maps by Mark Ezra?
