OK NP maybe I am reading into it more than Baneman will. I mean no disrespect to you, I was just worried it gave some insights to Baneman.

Sorry he saw five tanks and three are dead, you I think imply there are more, sorry I could be reading into your post more than there is? I did not want to flag it in front of Baneman. Hence wanted a second opinion.

Just seen Baneman post and that shot of the Panther shows it is pretty side on to Bils hunting party.

I think he has explained what he was up to but did not realise he had a Panther in front of him, it might have worked if there had been no unseen Panther? Also as he has mentioned he views them as recon elements so he is prepared to gamble with them. The gamble lost but as you say he should now have a pretty good idea on what Baneman has, if he is prepared to do the math. He is already talking about 2 companies Germans so I think he is on right track. I guess Baneman is getting caught up with Christmas so turns might slow?

I think from Bils response he will pull back and let Baneman come into a prepared kill zone. I just hope Baneman thinks hard about his approach and how to protect his flanks.

I guess I just don't want a one sided fight which was what I was worried would happen. As to who I want to win, I want that to be decided on the field of war, be that Bil or Baneman I don't mind, as long as it is a good fight....

A bit of smoke and some speed will turn it Bils way, this will make it more interesting, but I think big kitty will bog unless he starts using the road net...

Guessing after Christmas now, but hey I would love to be proved wrong.... Hoping the Scenario Pack is not tied up with this....

My bigger fear is that we are not getting any younger and I am guessing Steve and Charles will want to exit the game at some stage, so I am hoping they can cook up a big finale before they head for the hills.... I also hope I am around long enough to see it.... In the meantime I will keep feeding them (the cooks and maitre D and bottlewashers) and enjoying each day as much as I can (as you never know what's around the corner...)

Ok so I was thinking on how best to use an analogy to explain what you are perceived as doing and how it might come across to English native speakers... So let’s think as BF as a fantastic place to eat. Call it a great steak house (sorry for any Veggies out there). They serve Steak and do it in different styles. It is the best Steak house in town if not the world and has won awards for the different steak meals it cooks up. Now attached to the dining area is the lobby or bar where people hang out and drink and wait for their meal. People who come into that area are there because they know how good the food is and that they are waiting for the next meal. The bar is owned and paid for by BF. So into the bar comes someone who has had a good meal in the past and enjoyed it but now before trying the next meal (and with no intention of buying the next meal) they start saying how bad the next meal (new menu item) will be and that how disappointed they are with the planned new item on the menu. They are of course welcome to their opinion, but would you really rock up to the place in front of other customers and start pissing all over the floor saying how poor and bad the next item was? You are not the chef, you don’t own the place and you feel you have the right to piss all over the floor just because you have eaten there before? Yes you are a critic but critics have their own places to post reviews and that is not in the forum (bar) of the restaurant. Constructive feedback is always welcome, and if you would change your tone and language you will sound less of a pissed drunk. If people continue as "drunks" at what point would you think the owners would say time to leave? Just my 2p on it and I hope it gives you some insight as to why some people are giving you a hard time. Happy Christmas (Now I will go back to drinking in the bar waiting for the new menu item to be open to consume...)

Hmmm I wish I could agree but I think Bil has this sorted the town is a distraction and of no worth, Baneman can have it he still needs to cross open ground and this battle will be won by the tank duels...

On tenterhooks waiting for next installment.... How will that Panther fair...

Bootie thanks for these, I am enjoying the show and if I may offer some advice is just take it a bit slower and only move up once you have done the recon.

Hmmm in the AAR it already has shown vehicles can bog and just having them on the map adds to the immersion. Bahhhh humbug or I would rather shout Kaizen....

Ahhh OK sorry missed that re mortars. Streams add an important terrain type, so glad they have been added.
