We are getting more and more evidence that the Biden team are really asking Ukraine to stop with the Russian refinery attacks? Why? Russian Oil is not making up much of the market, it has an effect in cutting Russian spending so why? My poor old brain can only think of the following. It could be they don't want to give folk the idea of how easy it is to do. But that genie is out already. The box is open... Lamp rubbed et al... It could be that they know Israel is not going to act in a restrained proportionate manner with Iran and the whole world supply is likely to be disrupted. If Iran decides to go full in the oil refineries in the area could be taken down very quickly with Iranian backed drones... Any ideas on a postcard to the usual forum...

In about an hour I will be drawing electric from the grid at 0p. This last weekend we had too much power and I was actually paid to store energy. EV and house batteries were topped up and I got paid!!! The UK right at the moment is pumping water back uphill in Norway... Europe is well on the way to having a pretty good integrated energy system and during high wind high sun we easily generate more than needed.

The Energy market is changing and it will remove the stranglehold of the Axis of Evil as some folk like to call them..

While the messenger is important I think it is as much how that message is transmitted to those who fall for this. There are certain TV channels that are as important to this undermining of trust and spread out right lies. Without this support Trump wouldn't get any traction.

I suggest it's not a good idea. A targeted response against those responsible rather than creating any more terrorists by killing innocent people. Bombing people to the stone age has already escalated this to a level that was uncalled for..

The more I think about this, the more I am wondering if it is tied to the potential missile attacks to be made on Israel and the potential for that region to get very messy very quickly. That whole region is a tinder box and the Biden team are trying to keep a lid on it with no help from the extremists in control of Israel.

Just fixed that for you.. This war is giving the West a serious edge against China and its Russian knock off copies... We can see what is working and we can re-tool and re-arm quicker than China. This war has stopped China dead on its plans to invade Taiwan as they have seen how badly a 3 day war can go. We are getting real time updates on what works and does not as we are embedded with Ukraine. How close are the Chinese military with Ukraine? Do you think China can magically change it's whole military based upon the Russian knock off kit? The weapons America had in store have now been disposed of at a fraction of the cost it would have needed to The kit was designed to deal with Russia and less so China so it is being used for what it was bought for. American jobs and economy is winning because we are buying more of the kit and it works!!! You really do need to think through this - It is a no brainer for America!! Finland / Estonia / Poland are not going to stop giving support any time soon. France and Germany are another thing but currently show no sign of backing down...

Yep, Ukraine to win just has to stay in the fight... What game plan does Russia have to win this? Time is on the Ukrainian side, they just have to keep fighting. Afghanistan is the model to look at... If and it's a big IF Ukraine can weather this year and generate enough new force they might have options next year... In the meantime keep poking the Bears eyes out and making it costly (oil refineries) for Russia to continue...

Soldiers would be the top of the list. I can see an argument that they have less available than they had. Maybe better trained less soldiers are enough with better drones. I guess we will find out this year... Ammo is another concern but that again is potentially fixed but not ideal so worse than last year. I think that Ukraine will hold, but compared to the optimism we had last year we could say they are in a slightly worse position?

If they had the means to encircle the Russians they would have. They did well to stop the Russians. To think Ukraine squandered a chance to end the war is utter BS... Some interesting points made. Those being honoured are potentially now open to Russian retaliation. If it was me I would keep this quiet until many years after end of the war. On the other hand I guess it might encourage more to join in if they know they are being valued?
