Thank you Moon for clearing that up for me too about the CM2 vs CMII. I guess it was getting a little confusing.

First, thanks Tom from me too. It is very much appreciated. Have a good sleep. Also my personal thanks to all that has contributed to making, reviewing, testing and getting this program (CMMO) up and running. All you guys are great thank you. Now what the hell's a ruleset? This sounds like something I'll not be able to do and probably a lot like me ( computer challenged ). Can anyone in 15 words of less explain what and how it's done? Or are you guys doing this like you've done the vehicles? Yeah , confused and dumbfounded! I wish you guys wouldn't use words like that.

Maximus. No I was just going to get them when I read your post. So I will hold up until we hear from you. I do have a question however. Why wait? I mean what does the CMMO have to do with uniforms? I think I'm missing something - again? I thought the CMMO would only pertain to vehicles? No? :confused:

Andrew I got everything sorted out and am now the proud owner or user of your extremely neat US uniforms. Kick Ass! Thanks so very much for all your work and time. I can hardly wait until some one posts the patches for said US uniforms. Also I will be downloading the rest of the Allied uniforms as soon as they're ready. Just cannot thank you enough.

No Maximus I use Go!Zilla. Do you suppose that's my problem? What download program would you suggest if Go!Zilla is my problem. Actually I have been unable to download any of Andrews uniform mods so just kind of gave up trying but thought I'd try his new one here but as you know it's not working either. I just got through downloading some other mods like the Allied carrriers and some older mods but for some reason just can't D/L anything of Andrews. :confused: Any advise or help would as always be appreciated.

Thanks for the info Michael and yes email would be good. Never thought of that. You learn something new everyday. I thought that the white star was the National emblem for the US only and that the white star with a circle around it was used by all Allies. So Canada used just the white star also. I never noticed but will be from now on. Again thanks for the reply. I did go back and look at the site in more detail by the way. Yeah it's pretty interesting. Learned a few things.

Andrew excellent work as usual. I am however having a problem downloading your US uniforms Action Pak Vol2. I keep getting the following message. Could not open the .zip file( C:\program files\CMBO\mods\action_pack 2 zip) Any idea what this is all about? Is it my machine or something wrong with the site Combat Mission or something in the mod? Any help would be appreciated - actually by anyone.

Michael Dorosh. I did have a look at your site and found the mods but if that's not a leaf of some kind then what is it? Not trying to be smart just don't know and now I really am interested in knowing what it is. So what is it ? I would look it up instead of taking a chance in upsetting anybody but that could take days for me. And by the way I did read the history of the Canadian army while there. Very interesting. I truely enjoyed it. Good site I marked it and after getting finished typing this am going back to look some more. Thanks.

Sorry I didn't explain myself. The US has a white star, the German's have a white or black cross, the Canadian's have the leaf, the French have their flag colors, etc but the British don't have anything. I know they have numbers markings for units and such but no country emblem.

I just noticed something last night. I was looking at the British vehicles and noticed that they don't have markings like the other country's. Is there a reason for this? Seems odd to me so thought I'd ask. Anyone care to comment and explain.

Sounds like it is a beauty but can you see elevations as good on it as Wolf's? I am just wondering as I presently have Wolf's and while it's great on seeing the different elevations I would be interested in one a little greener but not at the sacrifice of not being able to see the elevation levels as well. If you know I would appreicate you letting me know if not - never mind.

Hopefully you are asking about us guys that only play the AI too? If so here's my playing habits. I try to go about it as if it was real life. I don't like losing any men and will occasially on letting some of my troops get killed tell them I'm sorry for screwing up and getting them killed. So I am a careful player wanting to take my time and not just go rolling in to a bad situation. This is impossible of course back I do try. I prefer the attack. I hate waiting for the enemy to come to me. I use my tanks only after coming in contact with the enemy as I assume most do. I always buy sharpshooters ( scouts ) to find the enemy then move whatever units forward to deal with it. Since I always play the American's I have to be very careful with my tanks and keep them hidden as best as possible . I try to locate all the enemy tanks I can before even moving mine. Lastly I guess I enjoy picking my units as much as I enjoy playing the game. Well maybe not as much but alot.

Well I just downloaded the CMMOS program. Now I see what it does. It's great!!! Thanks a million Gordon. Man, this is really really neat!!!! I love new toys! Now for getting some more mods. I shall go looking around. Again, thank you Gordon for your work and time. You are the man!!

Boy I am lost but what's new when it comes to anything having to do with computers. Ok I understand to download the CMMOS and one of the two Patch mods either Hi or low res. My question is where should I download them to. The BMP folder or the CMBO folder? Sorry this is way over my head but I think if you can answer that question I'll give it a try. :eek:

Just saw this site for the first time. Excellent. I marked it in my favorites. I'll be coming back. Also, saw the comments about mini-battles so thought what the heck I'll see if I can figure out how to download and get it to work. Although I really had no hope to get it to work. Damn, it worked. I now know how to download scenario's! I am so excited!!!!!!!!!!! great little battle by the way. I kicked their butts by the way. Man, am I excited about learning how to get scenario's. I've been putting off trying figuring I'd never be able to but hot damn I did it. I shall have my self a beer to celebrate! YAHOO!!

Well the American airborne are pretty much a big disappointment to me right now. I just played a game and the 3 times I tried to get them to knock out a armored car or tank they got knocked out themselves. The German's on the other hand knocked out 4 of my vehicles. Two Grey Hounds and two Stuarts. This was them by SMG squads not the individual Panzerfaust's. This ties in to another post earlier that stated the same thing. Rifle grenades suck.

Well, doesn't that show that the German's win over the American's most of the time? Just asking.

Manx, if you actually have to tell the guy what a mod is do you really think that person would be the best qualified for the position?

Well it might be fun - if I was the attacker. Sounds like the AI will win to me but it would be interesting to see what somebody really good at this game could do. I know let's pick Kiwi Guy to do it.
