I disagree, I think that support units like machine guns and mortars became tired too quickly (after just a few seconds of running sometimes), and that all infantry became exhausted too quickly.

Jeez, waiting an extra 6-12 months for the next module to come out (which is definitely WWII) is not a big deal. Some people are acting as if BFC proclaimed yesterday they would never revisit WWII again.

I would imagine that the leadership is pretty good in units like the 82nd or 101st, a mixed bag in regular infantry units, and pretty horrendous in some rear echelon place and reserves--the Jessica Lynch fiasco comes to mind.

That's not my only concern. How detailed will the orders engine be? Can I assign FPFs in the defense? Can I assign machine guns a PDF or FPL? Can I give engagement criteria per size or composition of the enemy?

I'm just not sure how well any CM-style engine (even one built from the ground up) is going to be able to simulate modern warfare, and if it does how fun it will be. I have visions of "Stryker brigade meets T-72 company, calls in air/arty, T-72 company dies, Stryker brigade moves on..." We'll see how you guys pull it off though.

Pick a spot on the clock and run like hell. Hopefully you run right out of his bracket instead of further into it
