Can AT guns be placed anywhere, including houses and all kinds of fortifications like foxholes and trenches? And if placed in a fortification, how do you know they are being protected by it?

The handbook doesn't give you a lot of info about these two different types of buildings. Can someone give me some answers to these questions: 1. Are non-modular buildings the "independent buildings" on p. 123 of the manual? 2. What is the difference in construction between modular and non-modular? 3. How can you tell which is which in the game, especially between a modular house or a non-modular one? 4. Which provides better defense? A modular house or a non-modular one? 5. Does a stone/brick wall provide a better defense than either of these buildings?

I've just upgraded to CMBN v2.0. Then I notice that there's a 2.01 patch for the Commonweath module but not for the regular CMBN basic game. Why is this? -
Not to hijack the thread or anything but in addition to no wind, there's also none of the folowing: Ground conditions Temperature Hilliness (A HUGE OMISSION!) The lack that I can't choose what type of hills I have in QBs is bothersome. I can't understand why that would be omitted as it can be a huge determiner in what force to select.

I'm a vet of CM but have only played a couple of battles of Normandy. Looking for a Beginner/Intermediate player to do battle with over PBEM. I prefer interesting maps with lot of different options. The one thing I do insist upon is a small scale battle where I don't have to block out an hour each day to do a turn. If you have a good map in mind, let me know.

When Will Fire be In?

So...will fire be able to be used as a weapon in the upcoming modules? I know from my days of playing CC2 that flame tanks were a part of Market Garden and I'm sure flame throwers were somewhat prevalent too. What's the word on this? -

I'm playing the tutorial right now and one of my squads is standing right next to the Company HQ. Since the interface only shows if the squad HQ is in control of the squad or if the Company HQ is in control of the Squad HQ, how am I supposed to know if the Company HQ is in control of a squad when there's no indicator light for it?

For the soldiers status, can we get something added to the "Casualty" state to make it stand out from "Cowering?" They both start with a 'C' and have 8 letters so it makes it hard to tell the difference between the two. Maybe adding some crosses next to "Casualty" would make it stand out: +++ Casualty +++ Something like that?

Do we really need the deploy command

Newbie question here...how do you know when the weapon (say, an onboard mortar) is deployed or not? From what I can see, there's no visual clue to this of any kind on the dashboard. -

1. Why isn't there a top-down view (#5) like there was in CMBB where you could get right on top of a unit and see close up where they are on the map? 2. Why isn't there more control of where you can place a unit in a building during the set up phase? I may want to place a unit on one side of a structure but the AI takes over and places them wherever it sees fit.
