  1. I'm looking forward to the German halftrack troop exits. Will they all go out the back or will some go over the side? I hope we also get full crew animations for open top SP guns.
  2. I see a recoiless rifle as a mini AT gun, so the code is already there.
  3. Since you already have the game, download the patch and see if you like it.
  4. What constitutes a leader? A sergeant leading a squad can call for arty, but a sergeant leading a SMAW or Javelin team cannot.
  5. A hellfire landed right next to a T-72. The tank wasn't damaged, but it did get bogged - the tracks were turning as it was trying to un-bog. I've never seen that happen before. The next hellfire destroyed it, so I don't know if it would have eventually become immobilized.
  6. Use the vehicle crews. No splitting is necessary, no new AI programming, and they already exist, so if people aren't using them for gamey purposes now then it won't be a concern, especially since they risk having a useless vehicle if they doom their crews to martyrdom. Of course, if using them this way is too unrealistic, I understand that you wouldn't allow it. Then again, if you do enable ammo sharing, what's to stop us?
  7. BFC, please release bone! or do somefink! These people have lost their minds.
  8. How about having the ammo come to them instead of the squads going to get it? If you enable ammo sharing the crews of the vehicles could bring the ammo to the men that need it.
  9. I like to have control over whose ammo gets replenished and how much they get.
  10. Then I guess BFC are just bastards.
  11. I think BFC's explanation for the lack of info on the aircraft loadout is that the men on the ground wouldn't know what the available aircraft are carrying. I don't know if that is true or a justification.
  12. CM:H1N1 - The Swine Flew Apologies in advance to our fine German members of the forum.
  13. I now use move in most situation where I used to use quick since quick tires out the troops much more rapidly in 1.21. This makes the time limits on some scenarios way too short if you have to cross great distances without transportation.
  14. Based on that, I think we can count on a September release.
  15. Javelin and SMAW teams can no longer call arty or air strikes.
  16. I've been playing your new scenario and I've found I have to use move or else my men are tired by the time they go a relatively short distance.
  17. I don't believe the M249 is classified as a heavy weapon.
  18. I try to get my AT weapons at the very edge of the hill in hull down positions near the start point so they can pick off the Red armor as it presents itself. I also put a Javelin team on the crest of the hill on the right so it has a good view of the area behind the buildings. But the key is to use the helos to wipe out the Red armor before you even see it. Get spotters in positions so they can call area fire in a wide area behind the buildings and to the left and right. The helos will take out a good number of tanks and BMPs. I wait for the second helo to arrive and order them in simultaneously. I notice that while the BMPs have many secondary explosions they don't injure the infantry that sit beside them after they bail out. Call in a short mortar fire mission on top of each knocked out BMP to make sure you get all of the infantry. When your tanks arrive send them around the left side, all the way to the edge. Don't send them into the orchard or they will take a lot of damage. Once you get into the rear you can take out much of the surviving Red armor. But watch out for the ATGMs. Suppress the trenches with mortars if you can. Then send your infantry into the orchards to clean up any remaining armor crews or infantry. But go slowly as you have no idea what might be in there.
  19. I don't know whether or not it is realistic for a regular squad to pick up an MG. It happened to me the other day and they had no ammo for the MG, so I had a guy holding a weapon he couldn't use.
  20. I never knew that Bobbie Battista worked for The Onion.
