  1. BFC has determined that its current customers are not worthy of the goodness that will be CM:N. They have decreed that we gamers wander the forum for 40 years until we all die off and a future, more deserving and worthy generation shall experience CM:N.
  2. To piss you off and make you show your teeth.
  3. What's not to get about rockets? They are awesome. The game will be fundamentally flawed without the Sherman Calliope.
  4. But CM Normandy will have Calliopes, right?
  5. It's been done for months. BFC is just waiting on the mouse pads from the printer.
  6. Remember, CMSF is based on a hypothetical scenario. One where all aircraft are 100% stealthy.
  7. I think we should consider ourselves fortunate if there are cowees.
  8. I think Neptune is being reserved as the official title for the Space Lobsters game.
  9. Generally, titles get the full packaging treatment while modules get a jewel case. The Marines module was an exception. Normandy is a new title and will probably get the full packaging. Probably the same for Afghanistan. NATO is a module and will likely get a jewel case. Note that Normandy is not "the West Front family," it is one title on the West Front, as The Bulge (winter weather game) will be another West Front title. The reason titles have more extensive packaging is to accommodate a full size printed manual. Modules don't have as much new info and the supplement to the manual is small and can fit in a jewel case or can be easily downloaded. I believe BFC has said that fewer and fewer people order the hard goods each time around as more people prefer digital download.
  10. I can't imagine you guys having to wait for the actual invasion in 1944.
  11. They won't release a new bone until this thread reaches 300 posts. Maybe someone can start a long and convoluted discussion about GI socks.
  12. I would think you could rejoin the teams, then re-split the support team which would have one fewer men. Doesn't it currently work that way with AT teams split from squads? Also, we are talking about ammo sharing, but I think the sharing is only for crew served weapons, such as MGs, and RPGs/rocket rounds. I don't believe Steve said or implied that rifle ammo will be shared. Steve, please clarify, or do somefink.
  13. I don't drive a Toyota. I expect to be crushed by a hunk of blue ice.
  14. That sound great. I hope I live long enough to actually play the game.
  15. It might be, but don't get your hopes up. It is better to be surprised than disappointed.
  16. The game will be fatally flawed if the strafing runs I did not know about until a few minutes ago don't live up to all of my expectations.
  17. Choosing not to include something that was in a different game is not a design failure.
  18. I ask because when I first started playing CMBO I was amazed at the destructive force of the artillery. I enjoyed sitting at ground level with the Germans as the naval artillery rained down around me (shock waves and all). I occasionally set up QBs with just a sharpshooter and artillery. Maybe it was a spotter. I was just wondering if such limited force purchases would be possible under the new system.
  19. Will I be able to purchase a sniper and three batteries of 16 inch guns?
  20. Come on, guys. He said this weekend, which means at least two weeks from now.
  21. So, what, if anything, changed while the forum was down for maintenance today?
