  1. They've taken too long. All of my entertainment money will be going to Barbies for the foreseeable future.
  2. Have you tried match.com? Lots of people into playing games on that site.
  3. I believe that Steve, or someone else from BFC, stated that it was unlikely that most current CM players would have an interest the Afghanistan game due to its limited scope and appeal. It was also said that all CM titles are completely independent of each other from a marketing perspective and they are not worried that sales of one title will cannibalize sales of another. People who are interested in two games that are released around the same time will eventually buy both.
  4. Has BFC even confirmed that CM:N will feature Hamstertruppen? Will there be a separate Hamstertruppen module?
  5. The reason CMSF was subpar on release is because they had to release it earlier then they wanted to. This time they are able to work on the game at their own pace and will take the time necessary to get it finished. Whining about the delay won't get it done any faster or make the game any better. I don't know what is going on behind the scenes, but the last I heard they were getting ready to code the new QB system, and then the game and scenarios/campaigns needed testing. I wouldn't be surprised if they ran into a few roadblocks with the QB system and it is taking longer than expected. Plus they are juggling CMA and NATO at the same time. The great thing about BFC being their own publisher is that they can take as long as they need to get the game done correctly. The other side is the coin is that they do take a long time.
  6. If they have announced CM:A for Q2 and have not said anything official yet for CM:N, then don't expect anything before Q3. I'm not saying it can't come out before then, just don't expect it. For all I know they could announce something tomorrow.
  7. Even if it were being produced by BFC, it would still be a separate game. Afghanistan in the 80s has nothing to do with the CMSF.
  8. I took most of the CPs, lost no men, and still failed. I don't remember having arty in that mission.
  9. Hopefully the modules will be released much more quickly for Normandy than they were for Shock Force.
  10. You are very likely to fail the mission if you kill any of the enemy, or even open fire, in the scouting mission.
  11. As January comes to a close we are one month closer to the release of CM: Normandy. As far as I know, the game itself is done, but it could take them a few more months to come up with a name.
  12. Why can't the game come with a map of all of Western Europe? Then it can be broken up into tiles which can be randomly chosen for QBs.
  13. They didn't take anything out; they just didn't put it in for one reason or another.
  14. Knowledge of the quality of enemy troops depends on the difficulty level.
  15. I don't know about Syria, but doesn't every house in Iraq have a stash of weapons and ammo?
