My girlfriend votes that I should get to work instead of reading the BF forums. Since hers is the only vote that matters, I vote yes to Erik's pony as well. And yes to cheesecake. finalcut Posted August 2, 2011 Share Posted August 2, 2011 I love Bailey's Irish Cream,I drink it over Ice with a little bit of Half and Half.I like the new Bailey's with a hint of mint.They also have a new Bailey's with a hint of Coffee and another new one with a hint of Caramel.I like the Hint of mint the best.I think real time pause should be included so at least players can get up and fix themselves a Drink.IMHO the game is better with a Cold Adult beverage.Everything is better with a Cold Adult Beverage. Yes on the question at hand. Some sort of chess clock thingie would be best IMHO. Certain amount of time for every scenario+extra for the length. But it depends. It would especially increase playability of larger scenarios vs human opponents. Basically the idea of RT with enforced pauses has been mentioned before, to me it is the best idea if it is done properly and with enough options. I would like to see the following: -) Players may decide how long to have the action phase between pauses. -) Players may decide whether to have a timer on the orders phase and how long it should be. -) Players may decide whether to allow watching replays during the orders phase or not. This would be the all-encompassing solution IMHO. You could play TB like it always was, or RT as it is now, or anything in between. Plus all of the necessary stuff is in the game already (except for the timers, which seem rather trivial - and, well, except for the replays in RT. huh.). Then you get to pause and see whats on the other side of your map. Personally I would not want to pause in realtime multi.. but if it makes more of the pedantists play then I am all for it. My favorite way would have been bigger map, split forces and coop vs AI. I always find teamwork more fun than VS friends.
