Baron von Beergut
I once caught a tumbleweed... Driving cross-country from DC to Ft Huachuca AZ back in 1980. Tumbleweeds blowing across the hiway. Around El Paso TX one caught in the grill of my car and stayed there till I next stopped for gas in AZ after carrying it from TX, through NM. Meanwhile, guess CMC might be released for the Christmas season? Oh well...

Shmavis
I'm a roaming cowboy riding all day long, Tumbleweeds around me sing their lonely song. Nights underneath the prairie moon, I ride along and sing this tune. See them tumbling down Pledging their love to the ground Lonely but free I'll be found Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds. Cares of the past are behind Nowhere to go but I'll find Just where the trail will wind Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds. I know when night has gone That a new world's born at dawn. I'll keep rolling along Deep in my heart is a song Here on the range I belong Drifting along with the tumbling tumbleweeds.

GreenAsJade
I once caught a tumbleweed... [smile] I was once standing right by a highway when a tumbleweed rolled across into the path of an oncoming bus. It was utterly obliterated - just snapped out of existence completely... quite chilling at the time. GaJ

Dirtweasle
Lasers. Many folks are unaware of an unusual, some say a mutant variety, possibly first spotted near Roswell New Mexico that has, well, what we call Lasers.

lute
War has been described as long periods of extreme boredom punctuated by moments of intense fury. (Paraphrasing - but does anyone know the origins of that quote?). Now, avoiding seeing tubleweeds in my dreams, I am hard at work living my daily life, paying attention to the details: life, love, work, and pleasure, fulfilling my obligations... biding my time, Because when CMC is released my entire Universe will only contain a bottle of Triconell, a cigar, and my computer...!
