Nippy
A nice cup of tea while I play as the Russians. From what I understand, the Russians are almost as fanatical about thier tea as the Brits are. Then a hot steaming mug of espresso as I give the Italian equipment a try. GWDWD
A homebrewed dunkelweizen, but I have some vodka on hand too so I can't be accused of taking sides. Guy

Tall glass, freezer-chilled, and the precious liquid cold enough so that there are the tiniest of ice crystals in it.. Ahh good stuff..

Zitadelle
Originally posted by CrapGame: Zitadelle, Comrade! I, too, shall be breaking open my prized bottle of Oban on that chilly night. Unfortunately, I will be on client travel (to Los Alamos) the day that CMBB is delivered to my office. Alas, one day I will be working hard and checking voice-mail where I will have a message that a package has been delivered to my office. And I will be 2000+ miles, two time zones, and several days from my first install of CMBB. The Horror....
JonS
Hmm. I too have a bottle of Oban rattling around in a cupboard somewhere, but since I have a bottle of Laphroaig open it'll probably be that. Incidentally - has anyone else here claimed their square-foot of Islay?

Guest Sgt. Emren
Glenfiddich for me, please. Straight up, sipped slowly. Incidentally - has anyone else here claimed their square-foot of Islay? I don't have one (haven't been yet), but I'll claim the one I'll eventually inherit from my dad! Soddball
I have a bottle of Sugar Cane Brandy I picked up whilst on holiday in Barbados this year. I think, maybe some fresh mango, some banana, some coconut milk, and get totally tropical for an authentic Russian Front experience.
mike the wino2
I am with Zitadelle , definitely "Old Rasputin". Maybe I'll mix it up a bit with some Sacremento Brewing Co. Russian Imperial Stout but no vodka at all. I'd sooner drink the tap-water in Tijuana than Vodka.
WineCape
I'll swig a bottle of Vergelegen's* Vergelegen 1998, my all time SA favourite. *Dutch: meaning "situated far away" which I am really, considering that CMBB is traveling to darkest Africa... LightningWar
Good idea. Maybe have to have the classic RBV (Redbol Vodka) But may have to use a neutrals vodka. Redbol Absolut Citron Vodka. *Yum* LW

Nippy
"I'd sooner drink the tap-water in Tijuana than Vodka." Sounds like you never had the good stuff. An Uncle of mine traveled to Russia many years ago and brought back a bottle of the good stuff. It wasn't clear, like the crap they sell at your corner liquer store, but more of a hazy brownish white. It may have looked like mud, but it tasted and went down like bottled water.
