Holien
What a great night to come home from work and see all three opponents dishing the turns. Pity some of them I could have done without. Ahh well XMAS is over and the war has started I just hope I can hold the Grinch at bay. The King is being kingley and using his mitre to strike forth. While the Cpl has just done something really quite brave for him... Thxs guys... H
Cpl Carrot
Brave is an understatement Holien. Do ou have any idea how many cups of tea it took to do what I did. I have yet to see the file and I am in no hurry to see it for that matter! Ya should have a reply in a few days as mentioned earlier Cpl Carrot

Holien
Hmmm The Grinch has woken up and sent me his weekly file. I hate snow.... As for the Cpl he is licking his imaginery wounds and I await him to chase me some more some time soon. As for T well the King is out to lunch and I await more turns. The SEPTIC is keeping me busy and I am discovering the joys of Stugs.... H
Cpl Carrot
Monday morning (your Sunday night) is my best guess that you will get a file Holien. Things are a little busy right now. As for SEPTIC, all I can say is GO LEN!
Kanonier Reichmann
I feel sorry for the poor bugger. His first ever PBEM game of CMBB and he's up against a veteran like Holien. You're cruel H, very cruel. Regards Jim R.
Holien
Don't feel sorry for him!!! He has Hell Stugs. They can not be killed by normal shells and you need silver coated ones which I am in short supply. Also I have Soviet crews that will leave a tank just because the track broke. John Kettler
Finally some good news! DSL's out, and DirecWay's too stupid to support the Mac, but we already have cable, so cable modem it is, with installation set for tomorrow afternoon. We get free installation, and six months at a reduced cost only slightly more than my current ISP, ramping to a few bucks less than DSL later. 1500 KB/sec downloads; 300 KB/sec uploads here I come! Am currently on 28.8 on steroids (40K), which is barely working because of seismic interference. Now, if the freaking computer would show up, I could actually (gasp!) start to play RoW III before Time itself ends. May wind up with 1.25 Ghz dual processor tower (still made w/ dual OS). Confirmed that new iMac, 1.42 GHz towers and PowerBooks will NOT operate OS 9.22 other than in Classic because of a ROM change, not just failing to install software, hence are out. John Kettler
The cable guy's early! Installation's being made as I type this. KR, the RoW II AARs would be long done, if only the CD-ROM drive would reappear and let itself be read. Sadly, it's still in a seismic snit and is in stealth mode. Don't give up hope just yet; I still plan to write them when I'm able. Regards, John Kettler

Holien
Hi, some concerns.... It is the 1st of March and time is ticking away. I am not sure of the exact deadline but I am assuming that we have March to complete the games. (And maybe a bit of April) So with this in mind.... Xmas with KR is slowly moving and we are on 17 out of 38 turns. This means we have to do 21 turns in 31 days if the end is in April. Or 63 file swaps at an average of 2 a day? Rear Guard with the Cpl has been sluggish and we are at turn 20 of 40. Again we need to be turning out close to two file swaps a day. The King with T is on turn 15 out of 28. So we have 13 to do and just over a file a day to swap during March. I do hope you guys can keep this pace up as the last few weeks have been a tad slow. I hope holidays etc... will not cut into this time? I do not want this to be the first tourney where I do not complete all my games and I am sure I am worrying unduly. I look forward to a pick up in pace soon. H
CombinedArms
Holien, You should be in the Wreck's Survivors section. I've finished four games and am starting the final turn of the fifth. Should be done by Monday. We couldn't stop Wreck, but we're prompt.

JPS
All my games in section 2-4 are finished. Thanks gentlemen for keeping up the turn rates! Ted
I think we've lost Kevin Zealotburner Hicks. I think he was overwhelmed by the Beast. Just finished KoD. Almost finished Hoss I have the Rearguard in retreat. And the Christmas battle is still anybodies game.
Enoch
Section 1-1: All of my games are now complete. I will start writing up AARs and sending them along to Kingfish. I had a great time playing all of these scenerios and playing each of my opponents. A hearty well done to everyone who made the tourney possible and kept it going. good luck to my fellow section mates and to whomever moves on out of our section.
Kingfish
Guys, Very important. Please make sure that you and your opponents are using the same patch. Otherwise you'll run the risk of generating two different game results (has already happended). This applies to both ongoing and finished games. Thanks, Sergio
