XO of Maintenance Outfit in Singapore Armed Forces.

Good to see that there is such a distinguished community here.

A bit of info about Singapore is that all able males are conscripted for two and half years. In addition we have service obligations for another 13 years..Long long time..

Welp, the nuts n bolts of my 24 years service:

75-76 US Army Reserve IRR

76-Infantry Officer Basic

76-78-NC ARNG Tank Platoon Leader

78-79-Va ARNG Arty FO

79-80-US Army Arty Officer Basic

80-88-Active Duty, US Army FA, various assignments

88-99-USAR various assignments ending as USAR Garrison S3 (roughly Brigade-equivalent, O-6 commander)

99-retired as a LTC

US Army Artillery in Werthiem, GE and Ft Stewart, GA for 6 years. Some time in CA National Gaurd, now full time Kansas National Gaurd as a computer guy smile.gif.
