Anonymous_Jonze
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1148490/Second_Front/ This game looks interesting! Not completely drawn to the cartoonish style, but the gameplay could scratch that itch! Comes with a scenario editor!
Vergeltungswaffe
I saw that when so many people on the Matrix forums went nuts for it. There's just no way I could ever play anything that looked like that. I'm afraid I would hear the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse song (not the original, the one I watched with my daughters in the mid 2000s) the whole time.

SimpleSimon
The Microprose logo flashing by for me was like the weirdest flex ever lol. Edited May 23, 2021 by SimpleSimon
RockinHarry
No way. But why don´t they make something playable out of this one? https://store.steampowered.com/app/329620/Across_the_Rhine/ In 1995 I found this quite interesting and concept maybe ahead of time (like Three-Sixty Pacific´s "Patriot"). Microprose did a couple good things then, like Gunship and M1 Tank Platoon.
Holman
I feel icky about dumping on another developer's vision. There's room for lots of wargames, and the life of the genre depends on attracting new players at all levels. chuckdyke
Space Invaders and Crazy Kong these were the games lol

Along with others like Spectrum Holobyte, LucasArts, Electronic Arts, they used to do some good wargames and simulators. I still have a the complete set of Jane's Combat Series (EA) series mostly unplayed, but am sure they would look very crude these days.
The_Capt
Gotta be honest, the video gave me flashbacks to the first time I saw CMBO. Nice and clean interface. The level of abstraction will be key.
alnigor
Advanced Squad Leader at the minimum level. Here is needed graphic like CM and it will be perfect PC-version of ASL!

I think a lot of other people are saying the exact same thing about CM. But yeah, I kind of feel the same.
THH149
Odd, it looks like Squad Leader or Advanced Squad Leader! I've no clue on how it plays like or similarity to ASL!
grungar
its asl for sure by the looks of it. if it is i getting it! tigers in the snow is asl but only uses one level and has a cheesy set up imho but does use the rules well. Perhaps this 3d game will fill the computer asl bill many have been looking for.
