LUCASWILLEN05
Yes please. A module extending the scenario to cover a winter war would be most welcome!
Stagler
We do need snow. Then my vehicles can get stuck and immobilised even more! Also, snow camo/ACU options for US, RU and UKR troops!

MikeyD
To point out the obvious, it doesn't snow much in Ukraine in July. There are multiple modules/packs coming of course but I don't know when or if they plan to push the storyline months forward into winter. They could of course. All it would take is a nod from Steve and/or Charles for it to happen. Eastern Front game's going to eventually slide into winter. There's a Bulge battle title coming. CMFI has already moved to mainland Italy and winter time. Maybe Steve will figure they've already 'done' the winter thing by the time they return to CMBS.

Kieme(ITA)
Yeah it is Worth to notice that the next three things you can reasonably expect from BFC are all three snowy... let's see: (with estimated dates) CMRT module --> oct1944/gen1945+ CMBS module --> sept2017/gen2018 Combat Mission The Bulge -->oct1944/gen1945 I belive they will share the same snow graphics (effects, textures etc.), being based on the same engine version. Actual facts in Ukraine proof that even during winter modern war can be done (with all due difficulties). ChrisND
CMBS module --> sept2017/gen2018 The CMBS module, whenever it arrives, will chronologically happen concurrently with the base game. If winter and snow were to be added to Black Sea, it would likely be in the form of some sort of non-canon, mod-like optional content, not an extension of the story.

I'd buy it....just winterize the terrain and vehicles already in the game. Maybe add a few scenarios.
LUCASWILLEN05
There does seem to be at least some demand for BF to do an expansion allowing for a modern winter war in Ukraine. Would they please at least consider it
vyrago
even just quick battle maps with winter terrain and conditions. good enough for me! now it gets me thinking, autumn and spring terrain would also be nice. too much?
coop_71
I think a CM:Modern Estonia (or some other northern place) would be more likely for a modern winter war. Then we could have modern Finns. I think part of the premise is that everyone would run out of ammo or fresh units well before winter.
