Fernando
I cannot put a lot of mods in my Z folder, just very few ones, because I should keep it as clean as possible in order to allow me to do textures that blend well with the rest of the stock art. I think you mod is wonderful and blends very well with the stock textures, so I have it installed in my Z folder
John Kettler
Rambler, Don't know how I missed this before, but you really killed it! I say this coming off two bocage-heavy scenarios: "Attack at Dawn" and "18 Platoon." What a difference your mod makes to immersion! You've evidently spent quite a bit of time in Normandy and/or looking carefully at photos and video. Shows. Regards, John Kettler
phil stanbridge
Yeah it is a great addition - unfortunately I like to use Aris's textures too. I tried this mod with the stock textures, and although the stock textures are very good quality OH MY EYES
Rokko
Does this mod still work with 2.0? I really miss it. @ Rambler: Could it be that the 1st and the 2nd LOD for the type D trees are interchanged? Somehow, the D-trees become less dense when looked upon from a little farther.
Pete Wenman
@Rokko yes this mod still works P
Yskonyn
I actually uninstallen Aris subdued terrain textures mod in favor for this. I really like the trees and Bocage, Rambler. It's a great addition to the stock game's graphics!
Rambler
Thanks guys! @Rokko - Yeah, I know what you're talking about. I think it may be because at the further LODs, there are less foliage objects than close in thus making it appear less dense, if that makes sense.

Rambler
I just uploaded a desaturated version of this mod for those who use the desaturated terrain mods. It's at CMMODS for now. Will upload to the repository later.
Rambler
Well, I caught an error in the mod (forgot to add in the far tree files) so the link above does not work anymore. Since I can't edit my previous post, the new download link at CMMODS is here: http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/mods/4886/details. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Erwin
Thanks. I have the Aris mods, but didn't see the "Flesh subdued terrain" in my Z so glad to have that now.
Rambler
You're welcome, guys. Nice comparison shots, Ales. I tried to make the mod as versatile as possible since there are quite a few different flavors of desat terrain mods out there.
AstroCat
After a long break from the game I've come back and I've decided to mod back up from a fresh start. Your mod looks great, nice work, definitely part of my new setup! One thing I did notice was the LOD switch goes back to the thicker trees so it can be a little odd. Is there a way to thin out the LOD tress as well so the transition is smoother? Also interestingly enough after a long break I actually am liking the default color scheme much more than I did when I first got CMBN. For some reason, maybe because I used a desaturated scheme for so long in CM1x it doesn't seem so jarring like it did when I first saw it. I will be replacing some terrain features here and there for sure but I'm probably not going to use the full on much darker desaturated scheme I did the first time around. Interesting.
PanzerMiller
JMO your mod meshes well with Flesh Subdued Terrain. Sorry for the necrobump here, but I wanted to find out about the horizon image in this screenshot...I take it this is a modded graphic? If so, can someone please point me to the appropriate online location for download? Many thanks!
Erwin
Looks really good. What however always puzzles me is how the camo jobs on vehicles seem to make them stand out more than blend in.
Hister
That's because their primary role was to stand on the crop-less field as a scare-crow.
