  1. Interesting, in a Final Blitzkrieg PBEM I currently have rain while my oppo is covered with snow. With the current weather in the UK being so rubbish, I might try to change the game to bright sunshine .
  2. Try this: @RockinHarry's fine work, so he may wish to comment (again ). EDIT: the mod is 'unarmed-tend to casualty' if that's not obvious. It's in all of my Z folders .
  3. I'm disappointed to read that cheating in PBEM is not possible. I was hoping it might explain my dismal results .
  4. I was getting on quite well with the site, but had a grimace when I read this on the IS2 page: During the battle on the Sandomierz bridgehead, on August, 13, 1944, the Germans launched a powerful counter-attack led by brand-new heavy tanks. The battle lasted until the 31st of August, and the Russians, placed on well-prepared fortified defensive positions, claimed four Königstigers and seven damaged, three Panthers and even a giant Jagdtiger SPG. Perhaps a minor gripe but I don't think any Jagdtigers were on active service anywhere in August 1944? The text for the IS2 did seem like a translation of former Soviet era content, so that might explain it.
  5. Phil, I would say that your marbles are not on the missing list just yet. Keep up your great work and it will hopefully keep you going .
  6. I believe he was joking. However I just Googled the meaning of GTMF .
  7. I like those shots too, great work. It reminds me why I don't live in a city . Only joking, they don't normally look like that these days and it's probably the crowds of people not the actual city that I'm avoiding. Anyway please keep up your excellent efforts .
  8. I love the enthusiasm and hard work around here (errmm sorry, in central Texas). Great work Phil!
  9. Completed here too, think I got the timing about right. Good fun, appreciate your fine efforts. Anyone avoiding the slightest of spoilers don't look below...
  10. When I walk the paths and fields of Somerset I often hear tractors near and far, and imagine how I would have felt listening to enemy tanks in a similar situation in Normandy or elsewhere back in the day. It's a scary thought even now. Oddly I usually imagine having a Panzerfaust or Panzerschrek in my hands...
  11. As we're all giving each other one () I have given you one too @Falaise. Great shots, although the middle one is a little blurry and unrealistic . I just opened up @Canuck21's 'Changing of the guard' scenario and I was in the midst of some lovely swaying foliage, I think in large part due to @Lucky_Strike's excellent work. Have I said that before about his work? Perhaps .
  12. Thanks for the scenarios, all 3 downloaded and installed. Will give them a try... Nice artwork on the site too .
  13. I love the graphics too @Falaise, those tiles look really good - similar to some I have here in Somerset . No poppies here yet, but we are slowly approaching summer at long last...
  14. Welcome . There is a 'seeking opponents' topic in the General Discussion thread I think. I would take up the offer but I fear I'm already getting a reputation for slow response... But if you really want to, drop me a PM.
  15. The chances of anything coming from Mars are a million to one...
  16. Okay, I think we're probably done on that one and we've avoided a lock ? What's the next question?
  17. Can I just offer up some enthusiasm for everything here? You guys are all doing great work and it's much appreciated. I it a lot.
  18. I like your (freely offered) services @Bootie and hope that you continue please. Yes updates and whatever can take time to appear, but I imagine it's an ever-expanding drain on you, so I have no criticism. The suggestion of more people getting involved is perhaps a solution but I don't know enough about the cog-turning and whether it's something you think would work?
  19. Well I love your portraits across all the WW2 titles, great work - not sure if you do modern stuff as I haven't got there yet .
  20. Not your fault my friend, it was me being too curious. I was aware of my misdemeanour (spelling?).
  21. Yes I like Stummels too. But I should not have read your full post .
  22. FWIW, I think it was a reasonable question, and it was reasonably answered. No need to lock IMHO.
  23. When I did a play-test of this mission a while ago, I was sadly unaware that you had to tell the Crab to flail. Soon learned that lesson, although it was not a Crab that got hit, but a Crocodile (immobilised with no casualties, but spoilt some of my potential for fun). Anyway @rtdood has done a great job on this campaign, very thorough piece of work.
