Hi Andreas
Good I hope that the stay in Brittany was also good!
it was very funny and unsettling to take a tour combining real history and games... -
ho purée !!!
Stunning ! congratulations Laurent it makes me want to play again "Mort aux cons"
Trés bien fait merci

@VacillatorTo tell the truth in Normandy it normally rains regularly ( "y r'pleut" in Norman language) , but this is less true now, due to global warming !!!
Like said @Warts 'n' allSummer 44 was also very rainy especially in June until mid August then very dry in August
it would be necessary, I have to do it for years, do the daily weather forecast for the summer of 44 , in the unit march logs, the weather is noted .
this mod is a modified version of the ground Aris. It is to added in a zzzz folder in the z in addition to my month mod ground or the original version of @Lucky_Strike
it may be necessary to make the vehicle also, I modify the balance according to a fixed value! -

@Paper Tiger Just wanted to pop in here and give my thanks to the author of The Scottish Corridor campaign.
having a hell of a good time. Finding the computer A.I. plans quite crafty and unpredictable, which is a feat in itself.
Lately, as I drift of to sleep at night, I'm thinking about how I could have done better by that lonely platoon leader. Or which way I should plan my attack on the morrow.
Cheers!
GpigI agree with you @Gpig @Vacillator
it's true that this campaign is extra, and very immersive
I even made a wet landscape modit is not finished, something is missing

once again a great map
you manage to capture the soul of Normandy
BravoBut both on the Buron map and this one they appear in brick, I think it's because you used my 1st version of the mod.
The one online which is the latest version shows brick churches on your maps. For technical reasons I had to invert the numbering of the BMPs (00) Caen stone and (01) red brick -
wow!!!
he is an artist, just watch on this map is a real pleasure
magnifique !! -
anyone hear from kid @L0ckAndL0ad
no activity on his account since March 1
I hope he was not conscripted !!

Tim is right!!

Great work Falaise. Any chance of giving the chinstraps some texture or coloring like you did for the helmets? The straps look like plain "black void" straps on my screen.
here is Erwin !
it's just the English chinstrap with a leather texturehttps://www.dropbox.com/sh/w2x8lzd2vtdb7a1/AACOn6iD_90HCNzkgVgJOU0oa?dl=0

@Falaise Did you "fix" the chinstraps in Blender? It seems better than I remember...
I use British chinstraps with a BMP "leather"

sometimes you have to know how to sacrifice yourself for a good camembert with a good bottle of wine and "saussisson sec"

Steph, Phil @kohlenklau never told me you proposed ? Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding .
It wasn't me who asked Phil for his hand.
it's Laurent22, I loved Phil's diplomatic response. The context and the exchange is so surreal that I cried laughing.

Browsing through some overdue threads, buried in a thread about the firefly, I discovered this must MOD for the french troop which fixes a bad inclination of the french helmet mod26
This @kohlenklau mod is essential to give a realistic look to the French and should be fixed by battlefront in a patch.
In the meantime thank you to @laurent 22 for having had the idea to ask and above at Kohlen
the effort of Kohlen must be underlined as much as it earned him a marriage proposal... I still laugh about it !https://www.dropbox.com/sh/vag5iuopkchywfj/AACAI_DTDpWzwb9qe6SiTnzIa?dl=0

Depending on the phrasing here this is a funny compromise. Neutrality secured by other nations that can stand up to Russia? So....... The United States?

the FSB got their hands on plans that the AU used to crush the Russian army, they are actively looking for their author....
I have an idea but I won't say anything !!!
You will excuse a little humor in this thread,
It's just to say thank you to the speakers, I think that in a few years this could be used for a historical study to analyze how the new media have modified the perception of a war -

Ok, so there has been a lot of finger pointing at the US on what it, should have done, should do or not do etc. I think it is time to point that finger back at Europe on this point. Who thought it was a good idea to become energy dependent on a nation that has been causing ruckus since 2008, did a soft invasion of another European nation in 2014, has been pulling stunts in the backfield ever since then and now has demonstrated just how unstable it is?
This is worse than US dependence on Arab oil, which they have worked very hard to get rid of, as Arabs can be jerks and support terrorism but they are not likely to invade with 100k plus troops.
Can someone explain this one to me? Because the Euros that paid for that gas found their way to funding this fiasco and no one seems to be saying to much about it.
This is indeed a question worth asking.
Apart from a blissful angelism, I think that for 20 years Putin for economic and strategic reasons has placed men of his own in Europe, one can wonder for exemple about the presence of European politics within Russian companies that do lobing with European institutions
Germany looks particularly affected, as does France
But you are not exempt from its infiltrations in your economic and political spheres. -

Falaise,
Don't know where this originated, but it sure is helpful. In English it loosely reads
Z alone, forces from Russia
Z with square, forces from Crimea
O forces from Belarus
V marine infantry
X Chechens
A special forces
Got Z right, Z with square partially right (was Russian) and partially wrong (Crimea fail), O right (conclusion by entry point and historical Soviet ID markings for operational strategic offensives); but had no idea and offered no opinions on V, X, and A.
Regards,
John Kettleryes excuse me, I forgot to retranslate and cite the source "Ukrainian Army General Staff"

I would like to congratulate everyone for the quality of the information and the analyzes carried out on this thread. I have been devouring it for several days now even if it develops faster than I have time to watch it
