  1. It is surprising to see to what extent CM is a versatile game capable of creating historical scenarios, even if they only have geography and the forces present, taking on a completely different turn as the game progresses.
or, what I love above all, tutorial scenarios like those of Bill Hardenburger or those of George MC (fantastic)
But he also makes films, the Private Ryan campaign with the finale in the very Hollywood village with the air attack.
I have just tested one of your scenarios by playing it for what it is, a fun game inspired by another game and what a pleasure. I had a lot of fun, the cards are super, very detailed, the timing of the reinforcement is excellent, relaunching the challenge until the end.
I was able to test for the first time a function that I thought was useless: emergency artillery fire!! and it saved my game!! awesome
    merci @Murauder

  2. Hello, I have just noted the different scenarios where the orchards are not “Norman” if some are purely cosmetic, others actually risk modifying the gameplay orchard hill for example.

    -Breaktrough

    -Ecoqueneauville

    -Le grand hameau

    - Hell in hedgerows

    -Labyrinth

    -Licornet

    -Neuville

    -orchards hill

    -stalemate

as I told you I can modify them, I'm waiting for your greenlight.
it might take a little time though !!
in relation to the problem raised by Kohlbie I made a post a while ago about an issue with an old scenario where units were placed in front of hedges at startup; this one didn't generate much interest I reinstalled the game, it stopped but randomly reappeared maybe something changed in the last update

  3. Hello @Paper Tiger, I am delighted to be able to play again this campaign which is a pinnacle in the same way as Scotich Corridor for which I am developing a rain mod.
I'm a little embarrassed, especially since I wake up after the update work to point out my only complaint with this campaign, the apple trees on the maps. You made orchards with low trees whereas in Normandy especially at that time, it was “tige haute; high trunk” like you make in Scotich Corridor; This makes it possible to put cows in the fields and optimize the production of milk and cider.
Living in Normandy that hinders my immersion.
I can modify all the cards if you wish but you will have to re-integrate them into the campaign
    merci  for your merveilleux work

  4. I'm playing Platoon Patrol again on CM Normandy
the Germans appear on the wrong side of the hedges facing the attack
more disturbing when I shoot at it the bullets seem to stop on an invisible obstacle as if the display was offset from physics !!!
among the other things noticed after the update the English 6 pounder cannons do not appear from time to time, the shadow is visible the cannon firing but they are invisible
"finally the scenario "busting the boccage" the new version that I used to do tests has disappeared from the choices although it appears in the scenarios folder ??

    did you notice this?
I had a hard drive crash maybe I bad reinstalled something !

  5. After weeks... months without having posted on this forum and even if I remain an avid reader via my tablet. I finally found time for myself and I even have the luxury of playing up to three scenarios a day.
I replayed and played @George MC entire series on the SDKFZ and tanks.
What pleasure, what interest, what information
The sdkfz that I didn't know what to do with have become indispensable to me, even if as a passionate CM Normandie player, they rarely have the opportunity to show their full potential.
Lesson 3 spw is simply orgasmic,  the example of assault with the spw in film that you showed, I have done it several times!!!
TTp n3 The attack against pak is a must
On the other hand, I had to replay the TTP n2 attack against the city several times, without listening to George's advice, I suffered a lot (I couldn't help but imagine him watching me play, shrugging his shoulders eyes towards the sky muttering, they don't listen to these French.)
just a big thank you George

  6. Thank you guys for some unknown reason it does not appear on the order and it is the only one that I had not copied in a word file (Murphy's law)
but thanks to the responsiveness of battlefront everything is back to normal thank you all

  7.

Hello gentlemen, thanks for the quick response!
When I look at my orders, on all the others, the key appears. But on Fire and Rubble although the command is present, there is no key??
the best as Elvis says is that I open a help desk tiket

  8. I had a hard disk problem
    I have to reinstall everything
After having had a hard time with, among other things, the CMBN 4.04 problem
when I thought I was done
I am missing the key for Fire in Ruble and when I go to my account on my order I do not have the key for Fire in Ruble.
and while I save all my invoices this one does not have it
    where can i find it?

Will it appear for Bénouville as well?  😇

I like to annoy our native-english speaking friends with accents... 😁

And for those who don't like it... Just try the Czech language ! 😆

    humm he's a maniac !!!
@PEB14 must be a teacher "instit or prof"
don't let yourself be fooled otherwise he will make you copy a hundred times

"Je n’oublie pas de mettre un  accent là ou c’est nécessaire ." 😁

  10. Here is excellent news!!
@WimO makes the most "Norman" maps that I have seen in the whole game, he has a kind of absolute eye for seeing the details that will make the Norman maps ultra realistic, I cannot understand how a Dutchman installed in Canada can have such accuracy in its realization... (je suis jaloux)
I sometimes walk on these maps in winter to have the feeling of being in June or July
I already told him but I reiterate my assertion he is a brilliant artist

  11. as explained @PEB14the roads according to their importance are not manufactured the same in 1944 !
the Nationnale (n158 for example Caen Falaise) are tarred, certain departementale also according to their importance.
the communal roads (which come under a city or a village) are made of white macadam made of lime.
the site "Remonter le Temps" can be useful, there are dark tarred roads and macadam roads which are white
most of the roads at the time are macadam.(dirt road or ground gavel in my mod)
As for the aspect for me the most realistic to represent the paved road is the stock one the "paved road 1". I looked on sections of abandoned road where you could see in section the different layers of tar accumulated on top of each other  (that's archeology) and the lower layer  reveals a brownish tar with reddish or white gravel in appearance it looks like paved road 1 which lasted until the 70s 80s. I remember that the road in front of my house looked like this when i was a kid.
In the city the majority of the streets were paved and or in white macadam for the penetrating axes
the highway did not exist, in some scenarios the designers however chose to use it, I replaced it with paved road 1 for more realism to remove the cobblestones, in Normandy there was no cobblestoned road, only in the North of France this is why the use of my 22.5 mode does not disturb

I give a dropbox link with the floors I use.
There are also other floor textures, I let you choose. This mod is used with stock floors, so to see what it gives you must delete your other mod on the theme
The cobblestones are those that I have observed in different places, Falaise, Caen, Bayeux.
I will try this winter when I have time to come back to the subject
including on the shape of the roads (hollow path raised path etc...) I was interested in this for the game and I discovered a fascinating subject while little known and yet essential for a society : The roads from prehistory to These days

  12. Yes the tank was recovered in the pocket of Falaise in late August early September 1944 in the village of Bierre exactly.
I had the opportunity to discuss with one of the resistants who had participated in its recovery and that he used it.
The French have recovered a certain number of tanks: pzIV, panther and tiger. They were used in the battles of the Atlantic pocket where the Germans had none, thus avoiding the risk of friendly fire.
This tiger was baptized Brittany which for us Norman is an affront.
he no longer had an optic  and the witness explained to me that he looked through the tube to take aim. It was used as a mobile artillery piece
