  1. OR make vehicles and troops that the flare sees visible only while flare is dropping, that you couldn't see at night via icons and actual unit. Once the flare goes out you can't see them anymore but if you had scouts or another group overlooking the area you can at least tell what kind of units are in that area when all the icons poped up.
  2. Mord did an awesome job on his sound mod, and I am using it for my CMBN, It would be neat if you changed the pitch of some of the files so they sound like different people saying it though.
  3. I wish it were like google earth's options, simple but works. 16 or 32 bit, compressed or not - GL - DX or safe mode as options.
  4. Sounds like your files are corrupt, Incomplete files on CD etc. Or there is some permissions or problems allowing files to be put on your computer. Run installer as administrator?
  5. Yes it is in Combat Mission:Beyond Overlord. Yes it was used in WW2 for anti-tank purposes as M2 allowed it to go horizontal.

This is his long awaited symbol of victory over the Fascists and every Soviet Soldier wants to be the one to raise the Red Flag over it's ruin. For Adolf Hitler the situation is decidedly bleak. His dream of the final victory is fading. His last days are drawing near. The German Army entrenched on the outskirts of Berlin has been smashed. Surviving units have been drawn into the city centre to defend the last icons of the Third Reich. Mingled Waffen SS, Hitler Youth, Wehrmacht and Volkssturm units fight on unwilling to surrender and face Soviet revenge. For days, heavy artillery has been pounding the heart of Berlin. Soviet troops of the 3rd Shock Army under the command of Marshal Zhukov fight doggedly from house to house, block to block through Berlin's ruins to the banks of the Spree. There, through the smoke and dust, across rubbled streets and parkland littered with shell holes and destruction, looms the Reichstag. German defenders, utterly exhausted by the continuous shelling fight on against the relentless push. This is their last stand. Bouyed by General Weilding and their commanders the men persevere. Tales of summary execution of the SS are rife. None expect less than slavery in Siberia if captured. While rumours of deals with the Americans and relief by the 9th and 12th Armies are everywhere, few veterans expect any more than a soldiers death in battle. They know the fate that awaits them if they surrender to the hated Russians. The Soviet Armies can taste victory. The Reichstag is only a few hundred meters away. The soldier who raises the Red Banner over it will undoubtably become a Hero of The Soviet Union. Every soldier knows how close the end is, but the battle isn't over.   7. Yes I have thought about crews doing it themselves but have also thought along the lines of an ammo runner that the AT and mgs have. But then would that even be historically accurate? Would the truck or HT drivers be in charge of this? ok thanks guys, better use my shots more wisely.

  10. Any way of getting mortar illumination shells (parachute type) into the game? They would work nice at night. I wanted to post this in the CM:BN but hopefully changes made to FB will show in BN in the future. Not certain of any off map guns were able to provide it.
  11. Can a half-track give .50 cal mg rounds to allied tanks if they are out? If so what would be the process for doing this? Seems There are times I run out of .50cal rounds more than I do tank shells.

  17. I tried 1 processor thinking it may be a multi cpu problem, It did not help.
  18. This is from the demo: With incoming AT teams running through the woods not far away I pull a half track up to rescue a tank crew after some type of munition round had gone through the .50 cal and no AP or HEAT for the main gun.
  19. They do look good at times but not when they are flickering. They don't hide troops or tanks from the enemy although I hoped that they would have. I will try to run the game off 1 processor to see if it fixes it and I will report back.
  20. Fox hole inside the ground = no. Raised fox holes with sand bags = yes.
  21. I have tried all nvidia settings and compatibility modes to fix this in the past with no avail.. If the game is based off open GL, it has something to do with the shaders the game uses maybe? Just turn the shadows and shaders off use alt r and alt w in the future a patch may correct it but that's what I do until then..
