  1. New Iraq army is = sadr army (Iranian) Not Iraqi
  2. mjkerner have you seen the documentary called soviet storm ww2 in the east? The pictures remind me of it, it is truly a piece of work.
  3. I made this with warrior mode and have won on both sides. This is my very first battle made using the scenario editor you need CM:BN and the market garden module. Pretty rough draft but my first attempt ever at it. You do not NOT need commonwealth module. Please tell me if you like this play style. You can play either side. Allied paras hold more ground. It is best played as allies. Le Varimesmel Semi-historical June 1994 101st vs SS on the Cotentin peninsula, France. DOWLOAD and put in your scenarios folder, then while in game click battles at menu and look for : Le Varimesmel Le Varimesmil.btt
  4. sure if they would use the damn iron sights..
  5. Anyone else noticing the garands are having a very hard time hitting anything?
  6. Is it true most US gun crews were issued springfields instead of garands? AT guns and artillery crewman?
  7. ^ could still do that. no .50cal though it's British.

  9. I love these threads. Any Brits to answer the question? A shot in the dark but. Allied countries were rationing metal, things made of metal disappeared from the shelves in US stores. I think Britain did the same. Germans had the Carl Zeiss lenses still around today www.zeiss.com
  10. Sherman III. It hit the shermans 75mm gun mantel all crew was ok no injuries smoke mortar optics 75mm gun 30 cal coax all destroyed pretty cool a first for me.
  11. no save but the tank crew couldn't shoot at the command troops on the ground with mg next to turret (troops too close for guns) or turret so they tried to turn the tank so bow could get him but then they saw the panther and was stuck.
  12. In the bocage I watched a vet on youtube say that they went along the side of the hedgerow to get to there goal instead of taking the field to get to the next hedgerow they just followed right along side of it for fear of the MG watching the fields. The only problem with that is roads did the same thing..
  13. It seems so. Also the command team was too close to the tank for them to shoot if that helps..
  14. I just don't get it. Today In a quick battle I had a sherman in the woods that spotted an enemy command team, very close and then they also spotted a panther tank across the field. The turret turned 7 times from panther to command team panther to command team without firing anything...... The panther didn't see him until the 7th turret turn and nailed the incompetent sherman tank. Wouldn't you want to damage or destroy the threat to the tank first then worry about the small things?
  15. Those photos are old... Germans used most of the czech stuff at the early stages of ww2. Invasion of France / Poland etc.. Ostruppen used it in Normandy for like 2 weeks, Germans used it at beginning of Barbarossa.. They used their own stuff mostly during ww2 not these guns..
  16. some of the stock footage is so expensive, buyoutfootage has some nice stuff like critical past but expensive to get.
  17. I understand you OP. I don't think the game knows when an object is moving opposed to a stationary object. In real life it would be very hard to hit a moving tank with a faust or shrek over a certain distance, if it is still or you are right up on it then yes but not moving. Why do I say this, well I have had mp-40s take out my tank commanders in a moving tank from far away. This should not happen, the rounds should be spread out more instead they are like a laser all hitting the tanker or tank hatch while never hitting the hull anywhere. Now in real life if shot an mp-40 at a hatch at those ranges in real life your going to be hitting EVERYWHERE but the guy sticking out of the tank. It's a spray and pray weapon I agree too many laser beam like weapons in game.
  18. Ok, it sounds like you are having trouble with MG-42 / 34 teams.. Just think what is an MG teams worst nightmare? Always, always, always advance troops under any kind of cover you can find. Never cross them through open fields, that is the MGs most lethal killing area. Create a wall of smoke for them, Then do a close combat assault in the sides. Move up an armored vehicle to cover the troops advancing to buildings (out of panzerfaust range of course). They open up with machine gun on your troops and a friendly crew sees this happen , a 75mm will toast them.. Target the building via 'target light' with the bow and coxial gunner, is one way to suppress it. This will save HE rounds. Suppress the area or building you want to advance to with mortar, small arms, or MG fire from a distance this is going to make them keep their heads down. Knock their guns out or make them flee the area even.. These are just some there are others..
  19. Were they watching the tank for a long time? For some reason have noticed both mine and enemy AT shot percentages go way up if they watch the vehicle for a long time.
