  1. Why play "Red Light, Green Light" when "Green Light, Green Light" is so much more fun. And graphic.
  2. Damn. And to think that all this time I've been using my bare hands.
  3. @ John Kettler Whitehot nailed it. You said "cooler" while I ninja-ed you two posts prior by saying "cool". It's not as funny if you have to explain it.
  4. Yo John, read my post ^^. Great minds, eh?
  5. Thanks, Gents. The briefing does state that occupying the abandoned trenches is part of the objective. What confused me was that when you clicked on one of them the "Move" button would appear. Not unlike a TRP. Which led me to believe I could actually "occupy" them by placing them within reach of my forces. Silly me.
  6. I am in the process of setting up to play this scenario. There are nine trench sections which appear on the map. A "Move" button appears on screen but I am unable to move them. Is this a glitch? A cruel joke? Or mere myth?
  7. Not to pile on Warts, but I believe the correct grammatical form of the possessive requires you to use "his" instead of "their". My two cents.
  8. I almost said "Cool" but that would be redundant. Thanks for sharing, Captain.
  9. Cool layout, Bud. And a (graphic) novel variation on a theme.
  10. I hear ya, Brother. But there is a difference between objective reporting of a Firestorm and breaking out the marshmallows while gloating over the body count.
  11. All I'm saying is, no one has / had a monopoly on propaganda. Both sides did it. Many still do. As for the narrator, there is something to be said for a man who loves his job...
  12. I like to keep my options open. "Baa, Baa" Sorry, Gents. "Wife's" calling.
  13. Kohlenklau, you are one sick puppy. Which makes you alright in my books.
  14. I reckon you're right, Banesy. Better give it time, though. It's early days yet to be handing out any awards.
  15. Agreed. Although the open fields and extra-large maps in RT were daunting at first, there simply is no substitute for the tank-on-tank potential to be found on the Eastern Front. Just counting the plumes of smoke on the battlefield made me choke...in a good way. I counted twenty-three at the end of Mission Number Five in the German Campaign - sadly, many of them from my own AFV's. I am glad to have cut my teeth in the bocage country of BN, but I am not in any hurry to return to it. Consider me converted.
  16. Phenomenal footage, John. Best enjoyed with a glass of sangria...I preferred this soundtrack to the propaganda of your previous selection. As an aside, that narrator did justify the pilot's gunning down of an Italian farmer, saying "He's no friend of mine."
  17. I wonder if the occupants noticed the neighbours are no longer.
  18. Good show, John. Thanks for sharing. (You may also want to post these videos to the Fortress Italy forum, if you haven't already done so.)
  19. The previous post was sent courtesy of Doctor Seuss.
