  1. I really hope they'll add the BMPT-72 "Terminator" in a future module. Would love to see this beast tear through some infantry and IFVs.
  2. Are you familiar with the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGsFfkw1BdQ?
  3. That's great news, was just beginning to fear it would be in the game. Can't wait to see the decal on that BMP
  4. Hopefully they will be able to settle their quarrels without real-life bloodshed.
  5. Me four, happened yesterday. Had to reinstall the modules, and tell Avast to keep its' dirty false positive fingers out of my CMSF folder.
  6. Wow, those tanks sure aren't looking too good. The T-64 and the T-72 made up the Soviet two-tank strategy. The T-64 was the advanced tank which equipped elite divisions (Guards), while the T-72 was meant to be the mainstay of the tank fleet equipping regular tank divisions and motor-rifle divisions. Later on the T-80 replaced the T-64 as the most advanced tank in Soviet army, while the T-72 remained a "mainstay-tank" (and export tank). I believe the T-72 wasn't produced in Ukraine, only the T-64 and T-80, and that is the reason why the Ukrainians didn't continue using them. Damn, Sergei - you beat me to it.
  7. AFAIK Ukraine only uses T-64s and T-80s, though they do have some 1000+ T-72s in storage.
  8. Sure their tanks are getting better, but still use "license-built" versions of the Russian 125 mm 2A46M/2A46M-5 gun and their ERA is also copied from the Russian Relikt and Kontakt-5. BTW, Is that a type 96A/G or a type-99 MBT?
  9. Oh, didn't properly read the last bit of your post, so misunderstood your meaning. Well, yeah I guess you are right - they do seem pretty well trained and equipped for a "new" player in the ME, seeming coming out of nowhere. What would Oman's interest in ISIS actions be? Don't know if war in the ME would be a good thing. We still need their oil. And if Israel somehow got dragged into such a war, the west would have to intervene. Could that ME specialist say anything about how ISIS operates on a tactical level. I mean small groups of men in technicals hardly seem like an all conquering force?
  10. This puzzles me as well. They had tanks, artillery and other good stuff, but they seem to have just melted away. Honestly thought the US had trained them better.
  11. What is it that has made them so successful? Can someone explain their tactics?
  12. How do you get the AI's troops to stay in place when creating your own mission?
  13. So no twitch stream this weekend. Could this be an indication of extreme busyness due to imminent release?
  14. The poor Iraqis during Desert Storm called it Steel Rain.
  15. I like Vice too, though I think they are a bit biased towards the Ukrainians. The people at Stratfor also believe things aren't going too well for the Ukrainians.
  16. Sorry to be an ass, but those are not 300mm BM30s, but 220mm BM27s. The reason why I know that for a fact is that the Ukrainians don't have BM30s, only BM27s.
  17. Brave guys, those Humvees are not going to protect them from RPGs and IEDs. Am I correct that the Iraqis are using the M1A1M which has downgraded armour and fire control system? What else is downgraded?
  18. The soviets found the panzerfaust very useful in urban combat, where they were used to blow holes in walls etc., to speed up movement and stay in cover. About panzerschrecks I think they would have used them when available, but ammo would have been a problem.
  19. Has any indication of a release date been hinted at so far? Will it be release in 2014?
  20. Really like the explosions, but that's about it - on all other levels CM wins!
