Yeah it seems ok with lighter amour but two main battle tanks seems a bit much. It is a bit of a limitation. Thankfully it does not happen often. I think of it as a reminder to keep good spacing.

CMSF2 Crashes with Quick Battles
A Canadian Cat replied to JeffPreston's topic in Combat Mission Shock Force 2
Right here works. -
Tell support. That way they can fix you up and look at the root cause.
-
Human selection of forces as a stop gap and hopefully it will be fixed in the patch. Oh and you could also purchase the remaining modules - that fixes things too.

I need cmsf-gsclean(for marines)

You'll need to open a support ticket for that. This is for user to user support discussion but none of us have access to the licensing tools. -
Update on Engine 4 patches
A Canadian Cat replied to Battlefront.com's topic in Combat Mission - General Discussion
Absolutely it is possible. Just as you suggest. You usually don't even have to activate anything else either. Many of us do it all the time. -
Future development of new games and new modules will fill that in but it will take a while.

Update on Engine 4 patches
A Canadian Cat replied to Battlefront.com's topic in Combat Mission - General Discussion
Well I always do a little post mortem after a release and try to lean something new to do better next time. I actually have a couple of thoughts that come from that problem. Hopefully they will help. Honestly the "why didn't you find X horrible bug" discussions are of very little interest to me. I try to shut them down at work too. Its kind of like "why are things always in the last place I look?" It is hard to know in advance what you missed and execute everything perfectly. The correct thing to do is look at what got into the wild and ask what could be added or changed to prevent that from happening in the future. And balance that with all the other things you are doing and creating a new plan for next time. BTW anyone who thinks those are both the same question needs to observe and learn more about human psychology. -

LOL you are discussing it. You are literally in control of if it is discussed again. -

Nope. Probably can't even blame auto correct for that. -

Sounds fishy. I predict that if you contact support you be able to find the link and get playing. Regarding.cam files: oh man that gave me a smile. There is a windows installer that uses .cam files for its compressed files. I never even connected those dots until your post. In combat mission the .cam files are the campaign files. -

As @Ultradave said in a fully staffed team that is the kind of thing that we would do. I bolded that part so it may burn a hole in space time. When I started I brought a little of my software development experience - and from hanging around with testers - and try to attack this with a systematic approach. But we are volunteers and there are limits. I like testing and creating but I'm not a fan of installing and uninstalling evey which way. I want some time to play too. So, I'll continue to do my best but there will be limits -
Will Santa Steve ride tomorrow night?

So true. -
How much precision do you want? I usually use three rounds of precision fire to take out an IFV and same to have a shot at a tank. Using that, most IFV s are taken out and tanks are at least damaged and frequently taken down. Note that's my updated SOP and expectations since precision rounds were tweaked a while back.

Oh I just realized what it is likely for. I'm still not at a computer to check but CMBN has flail tanks and they do have a clear mines command. All the games are probably using the same settings code even though many games don't have any units capable of clearing mines.
-
Ah but that screen shot shows both mark mines and clear mines. Where is that shot from? I'm not at a computer so I cannot check.

Hasty AAR: Rahadnak Valley Search (USMC)

Really well done! Thanks for sharing. -
No idea. I suggest logging a support ticket.

Ah I didn't get that reference. Anyway I was more trying to make the jump wider known. I spent a whole afternoon's editor time discovering that one day

You will notice something that has confused me in the past. I deployed the red tanks in the middle - as you can see in your first screen shot - but each AI orders had a unique setup area. During setup the red forces appear in their deployed positions even though the plan choice is locked in. As soon as you press the BRB they jump to the stop zone. So, remember when you are testing your new AI plan, with the unique setup that should always be chosen because you turned off the other plans, that they don't assume their start position until you press the BRB. Loading the scenario over and over and checking the plans in the editor is just wasting your time

I would contact support and see what they say. I have no idea why you would want to but support will know the answer.
