  1. Thanks for the link, will download it right away. And of course big thanks to Fred, looking forward to play this one! The Allied campaign has been very good too!
  2. Yep, you can get if from here http://www.win-rar.com/website/index.php?id=start&L=0 Other software is also available And heres a video instructions how to use it,
  3. It's a compressed file and you need a suitable software, like WinRar to unpack the file. Upacking it creates the btt file and then you're ready to go
  4. Someone recommended this book in the other thread and I ordered it immediately and it's been quite fascinating story. Ste-Mere Eglise, June 1944: No Better Place to Die: The Battle for La Fiere Bridge, by Robert M. Murphy The book illustrates very well how confusing the fight was for the paratroopers in the bogace just after the landings.
  5. Well, thats new to me! I thought the Germans did it weirdly when they used the same time zone in the furthest part of their occupied zone in Russia as was in Berlin.
  6. What timezone they use in the game? As the Allies and Germans used very different time zones time could have varied quite a lot at the different sides of the battlefield? And are the times of sunrise and sunset correctly simulated to match the times in the june-august in Normandy area? If not fix it or do somefink!
  7. Didn't know that double clicking will choose the whole formation Thanks for the tip, have to try it but try to avoid the problems you had with it.
  8. Here's a new one. http://vimeo.com/32365971 First one from the beginning and some key events pointed out.
  9. That was nice! the bouncing is prolly a bug but are dud's modeled in the game? I think they should be, quite a lot of arty shells don't explode as they should. Or might go off later.
  10. You can't mount and dismount unoccupied vehicle in the same turn. Same applies to mounting and dismounting a vehicle that has a crew already.
  11. Thanks a lot! Downloaded it right away and can't wait to try it!
  12. Well, I'm not comparing it to anything. As I said, very few games are so interesting that I bother to play them as long as I have played BN (and SF while waiting for the BN). I just get bored to the games at certain speed, but it has not happened yet with BN. Most likely it will eventually happen. If the game keeps enjoying me, then I consider it a good game regardles of's it UI or other features.
  13. It's quite interesting to see how muvh people get annoyed by this and that thing. Personally I think that the BN is the way far best game there is available at the moment. I don't play that much games anymore and usually I can keep interested on one game for few weeks, maybe couple of months at a time. But since I heard about BN (End of 2010) I started to play (again) SF and now BN and have not played any game after that and the game still keeps me fascinated by the level of challenge it gives. Yes, there is some flaws and room for improvement, but none of them are ruining my experience. And now when I have started to play mostly PBEM games the experience is getting better and better.
  14. Most likely there is no coded probability assesment for the tanks or anybody else than shoots/throws something in this game. The tanks will always shoot if they see a target. Of course when the target arc is set then they will not shoot. I think that this reflects real life better than giving the hit probabilities. The tankers don't have a chart which they check if they shoot or not. If they are ordered to have firing sectors then they will shoot only when target enters the area.
  15. Ze German tank hunter teams specialized on the Beaver (Kangaroo) would be called Beaver hunters!
  16. Sixx, take a screenshot of that coolness so that the trees are off and post the pic here again when you are allowed to do that! Meanwhile we can try to quess what it is.
  17. With only two tigers and the rest artillery it will proably be quite an easy task to kill the tanks with at squads
  18. .......,,,,,,,, Here's some free dots and commas. Feel free to use them
  19. I use the mouse wheel for zooming in and out and right button to move the view around so it takes about ½sec to change to straight down view
  20. Yep, the map seems to be the same that is used in Le Desert scenario. That is a German attack map. In the briefing view you sent it states that the map selection is Human. So as above is said, probably the setup zones are set the same as are in Le Desert. if you open the map in editor can you change the setup area?
  21. Even if the briefing says that one side is attacker and one defender it still can be a meeting engagement
  22. I think this has been asked here before and then the answer was that BFC has never and never will release any sales figures.
