Kenzie, machine guns are much better at suppressing enemies behind bocage. Use Target Light and you will likely have better results. -

Interesting, Bartokomus. My standard sequence is move>face>deploy since that works best when up against a bocage line, but maybe I don't have to sweat the exact order anymore. -

Just deployed an MG42 in a building last night (which I had been avoiding since I wasn't sure if that bug had been fixed). 2.7 minute deploy time stated in the UI, IIRC. It deployed near the end of the third turn after they got into the building. -

Don't have comp access ATM, but try using "para" instead of "airborne". I think the rest is correct.

That was me, Mikey D. I was working off a mod posted in CMMODS by...I forget ATM, but know I haven't seen him on the forums for a couple of years. Anyhow, I added a lot of flavor objects, a lot more terrain, and did new uniforms but put it aside when GL came out. I dusted it off the other day, and as that crazy Hungarian, kohlenklau says, it'll be here in a while. I need to finish getting my fix of all the MG goodness first! -
Agreed, sburke; well, except for the FJ uniform bug. Oh, and I love bocage fighting, since I prefer infantry battles with just a smattering of armor anyway.

Hi Phil, I haven't had much time to do any work on things, but snow is relatively easy to do on the tiles using Corel's PaintShop Pro 4's color adjustment matrix. I have alot done already from my earlier start on the snow mod for CMBN, which I discontinued once CMGL came out. But there are still a lot of files to go through, like roofs and flavor objects, etc. -

Is polder in MG's future? My understanding is that at least along portions of Hell's Highway, the surrounding ground was polder thus XXX Corps tanks were generally road bound. I suppose just setting conditions to "wet" will do the trick, or perhaps modding the marsh tile to look like polder, but just wondering if BFC had plans to add it in a pack or the catch-all last module.

I just loaded up several FJ scenarios, and have had no problem. By the way, If you continue playing through turns from a battle that started out with this uniform problem, the error seems to continue even if you quit the battle and restart it later. For what it's worth, once I started the Green Hill and Devil's Hill scenarios over from the beginning (after deleting the screwed up saved game turns) this problem never recurred.

I had that occur too in those scenarios, but I was screwing around with my FJ uniform mod and had added that to the z folder just before I loaded Green Hell, so I took it out. When I restarted both scenarios after that, things were OK. But I haven't gone back to them since (been trying out all the scenarios and started both campaigns). But, no problems with those uniforms in any of the other battles that have FJ's in them.

Hey benpark, how is your Kriegsmarine mod coming? I know that nik mond beat you to the Repository and his mod certainly looks great, but so does yours and the more ability to mix the better as far as I'm concerned. Besides, I love your striped undershirts! -

Zenomorph, try using the SLOW command for some or all of the floors. The FO team will undoubtedly get tired if they crawl all the way up the steeple, but using that command when entering buildings, and moving up and down stairs, will increase your pixeltruppen's chances of survival greatly. -
I believe it's under "Manilito" or something close to that.
