  1. I did some. They are in Kohlenklau's Winter a Mod at CMMODS.
  2. Sounds more like March than June, then? Excellent news!
  3. So Franster, where did this come from? Nothing on the BFC site.
  4. As usual, BFC follows through. Tank riders! F*ck yeah!
  5. I think you should, Los. After the Holidays, kohlenklau and I will put our heads together and see what needs to be done to put it all together. I have to update a lot of pre-v2.0/patch2.12 modded stuff.
  6. God, Ken, you are such a wimp! When I was a kid oh, so long ago, my older brother made me run back and forth along the backyard fence, using my legs for moving BB gun targets. Apparently he was a bad shot, as a fair number of them struck above the waist. When your boys decide to test with the .22, you may want to throw smoke bombs and beat a very hasty retreat before they begin the test.
  7. If you have to go through the wall/bocage, give them a HIDE order at the Blast waypoint, so they hit the ground immediately. That has helped me keep casualties down when blasting through.
  8. Kk, you interested in moving the Bulge Mod to CMBN/MG? I have 90% of the terrain and Flavor objects modded, and would need to update uniforms, but since the Bulge Game won't likely be released for some time, it might be worth it.
  9. This is a must have : http://cmmods.greenasjade.net/mods/4958/details (Hey, if I don't promote myself, I'll never get anywhere in show biz!)
  10. Broadsword, you didn't get it?!? Man, my bad. I need to find it (I had to uninstall FI/GL in order to install MG--need new comp), but I'll get it to you.
  11. Yes, that's because they are a Brit mortar team gussied up as Fallschirms through a model swap. Broadsword wanted the 2in mortar teams to double as FJ 50mm mortars, which are not integral to the FJ platoon TO&E, IIRC. By changing the models and switching from Axis vs Allied to Axis vs Axis as needed in the scenario editor, you can get the above effect. I have a mod that switches out the Stens for the MP40. The problem with model swapping, though, is that once switched, ALL of them in game are. So, for example, all British would be armed with MP40s. As it is, all British Paratroopers would look like the above, but at Crete, there were no Brit Paras, so it's not a problem.
  12. Lol, he already has. I did it for him, but come to think of it, I don't know if he or I ever followed through...
  13. A model swap could be done. I swapped the Brit 2 in mortar and team so that Fallschirmjaeger would have (something similar) to a 50mm platoon mortar. These are the Brit Para models swapped with the FJ models, but their Brit weapons untouched. Same can be done for the weapon models and not the troops, or both can be swapped out.
  14. Thank you Los. Very little feedback makes a person wonder if anybody likes their mods.
  15. I had the same problem, before and after 2.11/2.12. But the solution that worked for me was to give the vehicle a long movement order from their start point to say up near the first buildings on the other side of the underpass, or a little beyond. It will take them more that one turn to pass under, so you have time to send Landsers ahead and find and fix the Enemy. Great scenarios btw, JonS. I purposely didn't read your thread about the "making of" so I wouldn't know what was going on when I played it. Some meaty reading ahead!
  16. I agree with Mord. Those helmets really have a painted metal look. I'm curious, since you are still learning PS, how you managed those textures? Excellent!
  17. Thanks so much for doing these, Aris. Those 250's look fantastic as usual! Your mod output is simply amazing!
  18. That one I do remember seeing in the theater when it came out, and on TV later ('70s maybe?). IRRC, it has a scene where a Marine is lying in the snow and then gets stitched across the back by a ChiCom mg. That has stuck in my head for 50+ years, for some reason. Pretty good action scenes overall as I recall, and I think it may be the movie footage used a lot in the relatively recent documentary "Chosin". Edit: Just watched the youtube scene...yep, Frank Lovejoy...it's the one I remember.
  19. Los, I thought I'd seen every WWII movie ever made when I was a kid, but I never saw The Tanks Are Coming. Thanks for the link. At about 9:00 minutes, two CMBN truths are verified: Tanks spot infantry first; and (when I'm playing them anyway) German anti-tank troops can't hit the broadside of a barn or a Sherman!
  20. And, while you're dealing with German HT's, any chance you'll be getting to the 250/9's, "old" and Neu?
