  1. True, I was going to write the Heer but dont know why switched back to writing wehrmacht. and no problem, if im ever wrong please correct me!
  2. Also as far as I Know the Falschrim were part of the Luftwaffe and not of the Wehrmacht
  3. yeah I know jeje I am aware of its deployment. Iw as talking about saying goodbye since as far as I know its bieng phased out and replaced by the Puma IFV
  4. hmmm well I tend to enjoy Company+ size engagements in open/hilly areas with a town or two as an objective, where I can overwatch with my units and clear the town, nice mix of open and MOUT combat. ussually like to play with mechanized units with IFVs. I like myself some combined arms jaja. Couldnt say where im best at, but I do consider myself a good player, not the best but have come a long way since my first tries.
  5. ah the Marder, my "OMG what is this?!?!" weapon of the NATO module. Sad to see the Marder go, such a great weapon and never used, although I suppose we should be thankfull for that. And yeah, if you dont look after your men the AI can deffinatelly put you on the spot, especially with help from the designers. and in relation to the PzGrenadier mech platoon/squad, they seem to be just too small, the loss of 2 men can knock down the firepower of a squad inmenselly, the platoon/squad relies heavily on support from the Marders to gain fire superiority.
  6. I noticed that, once I started playing with the Germans, thinking OMG where did all these shots come from?
  7. hmmm as far as I know, all enemy units show up as light red, you dont know if they are dead or not
  8. IMO, there are more pressing matters to be looked than rare tungsten shells.
  9. wow thats actually a good point, never thought about that one, guess we dont miss CMSF enough!
  10. oh great! never checked out the motorized units! cheers jajaja and yeah they just seem quite big.
  11. one question...just downloaded the campaign and started the first mission, how did you manage to get those reinforced German squads?
  12. True, if there is something that CM series does well is teach us to be tactically aware of our soroundings. Probably the best thing ive played that will help me in my future military career.
  13. probably jajaj depends are you playing a capaign? ussualy my the troops which have been fighting the longest and are most hit are rattled, if not ussualy cautious.
  14. thats why I asked jaja, If its the AI, well its an AI its not human it can only do what the AI plan tells it to do. if its Human,if it all happened in the same turn, tough luck is what comes if you play WEGO, if not and the human missed it, his error!
  15. Well you did use Lt. Manning from 3rd Platoon, which for somereason is the worst commander in the unit but has become dear to me lol, and yes -2 does have quite the effect on fire missions, plus he was rattled so dont expect good fire missions from leaders in those circumstances.
  16. True, as far as I am aware, Hitler was basically close to a nervous breakdown throughout the campaign in France, half expecting the war to bog down into a near WW1 setting.
  17. how are you going to call in artillery with a Tiger?
  18. I thought that, as far as I know UGL rounds have a distance timer (cant remembe the exact name atm, but you get wjat I mean) right? i would suppose this is modelled but...
  19. do you mean introducing the Shermans? well the Stugs had to go one way, I didnt see the infantry getting close enough for a bazooka kill.
  20. oh yeah ofcourse I knew it was out of action, its just my men seemed to not realise or just wanted to make sure. seen it happen plenty of times in CMSF.
  21. Well I has a suprise yesterday, a PzIV poppod out of nowhere, on of my GIs launched a rifle grenade at it, penetrated and made the crew bail, the crew was destroyed, but that didnt stop the rest of my platoon launching some 6 bazooka rounds and the rest of its rifle grenades at its side armour. Still the panzer did not apear "knocked out", took a 75mm HEAT M8 HMC round to finish it off.
  22. Every airborne company seems to have quite the large HQ support team, which doesnt seem to have a radio. ive used infantry weapons platoon hq support teams to be near the mortars to maintain C2, which I suppose is their use. now, what would be the use of these company level hq support teams? are they the same as the infantry XO? should they be used the same way? Thank you.
