  1. Ive started the dutch campaign too. Halfway through the first mission, that took me about 6 hours lol. No casualties so far though, well I got a bit brave with my fennek and id saved the turn before i pressed go so I just quit then ; ) Started up a lot of the stock scenarios, none of them really appealed tbh, generally the mix of forces on offer is either too big (I need a new PC so i can run them not on fastest 3d model quality with decent FPS) or the mix of forces on offer doesn't look that appealing, perhaps once Ive done the campaigns (which the forces do seem appealing, but the maps are quite big) they may appeal more
  2. Or it might be the scenarios your playing? I prefer the heavily foliaged maps, and good scen designers put troops in nasty places where you have to close in to engage the enemy

  4. What driver version is that? I don't really play any other games (my PC can't handle the other games i want to play : ( ) and i'd happily roll back
  5. Looks a little odd to me. Nice little feature, but the visuals are just off, i'm guessing because the guy needs to be fully stood up to fire in the game engine code and can't bend down slightly to be at the right height. I did notice only one guy seems to fire (no idea how many firing ports there are on a BMP) and out of the 2 models i tried it only worked on the BMP-1D.

  7. First question I have is Nvidia or ATI? We know theres a bug in the nvidia implementation of GL when it comes to lighting effects, perhaps that is causing that?

  11. I'm sure for the Stryker arty observer vehicle it needs to be the FO selected as the Stryker is denied, so with that logic you should allways choose the FO?
  12. If the FO can see the target, then simply use a point area target and click on the units icon (the text should change from strike point (possibly area target?) to "strike infantry" or "strike armour"
  13. Any suggestions for improving it? It originally had another plt of mounted inf but I took them out because I was struggling.
  14. Dima, there were no red troops left? I'm reading that as meaning you found it rather easy? Played it through myself and I got owned (although I didn't have those .50s)
  15. I'd bet you $1000 it won't be in Nato, and probably about 100 it won't be in normandy. I cba to find the post but i'm sure i've seen steve say it's on the list, but not towards the top so probably not until the game (excluding modules) after normandy.
  16. I think the point is it should be listed on the symbols as FBCB2 and visual not radio right? As for the fire control, aren't modern tanks crews still trained up to aim the gun manually if the fire control systems get damaged?
  17. Probably Mech Rifle Plts right? Unless Im mistaken all the AFVs in a platoon are identical, there is no specialist HQ vehicle until you get higher up the command chain. So Identical vehicles = identical ammo load out.
  18. Don't get me wrong, I certainly see the advantages they would provide, and if they were to be put in I would view it as a good thing, there are just a lot of other things id like to see first.
  19. Not really a mistake or bug, but now we have the timescale spread over a long period of time, it'd be nice to get some Date information from the scenario selection screen.
  20. For direct fire you're right, but there is no indirect fire using the british mortar. I believe it's been announced that we will have on board mortars in CMN capable of both modes of fire so if they ever bring out a second module for CMA then mebbe we'll see it then? Having said all that though, i believe there are some beta screenshots out there showing US on map mortars, obviously no idea if they were cabable of indirect fire or not though. Perhaps a CMSF beta tester could enlighten us?
  21. Do you have a quote for that assertion? All the posts I've ever read on the matter from BF stating it is on the to do list but not that high up it. Personally i've never encountered the problems you have stated, yeah it would be nice, but there a lot of things id put ahead of that.
  22. Have you tried adding a face command at the end of the assault command?
