  1. Awesome! How many scenarios are you planning to have?
  2. Have you played "Operation Storm 333" that comes with the game? It depicts that particular operation where Amin's palace was stormed and it has Shilka in it. Normal Dude built that scenario BTW.
  3. Wow, the briefing by itself is astounding! I realized I should put away time on the weekend to play this scenario. Reading the briefing I think this is one of the very few scenarios that really puts out reality, that some battles are not simple "go there, kill everyone" but are a multi-stage missions that need to be understood and planned. Great work!!!
  4. I haven't got a chance to play it yet but by already impressed by the length of the briefing! Looks like the author really spent quite some time building this scenario!
  5. According to russian solders who fired RPG's from within buildings - it wasn't fun but certainly was doable. The main thing, they said, is to yell to the teammates to warn them. Also in Grozny during first chechen war russians lost a lot of tanks due to chechens firing RPG's (what else) from upper levels of multi-story buildings. Which again proves that it is quite doable.
  6. There is probably no way to do that. But the scenarios with english briefings should be displayed fine in Russian version.
  7. In Scenario Editor choose Ground Condition "Light Snow, Deep Snow etc." and then just place Snow tiles on Map Editor
  8. Great news, hopefully Romm can release it soon! Thanks for your hard work!
  9. Great job SLR! Hopefully this briefing will get incorporated into the scenario as it'll help many non-french speaking players
  10. Great, thanks for sharing the updated version! I actually haven't got to play the original so now will be a good time for me to go straight to your v1.01! Keep em coming guys!
  11. They can't do that. The closest thing you can do is put some flavor object (junk, tire, can) next to an IED and then have your blue team shoot something high explosive or something like that into that flavor object. The explosion should destroy the IED if it's a very close hit. In the briefing you can probably mention all this.
  12. Boy! I would be all over it but I need to get a new computer (lost the previous one used for CM:A)... Folks, if you test it post your comments here and I'll start convincing my wife that I really need a new computer (and use this scenario as an argument).
  13. Well, the firing ports feature was experimental and added originally only to one BMP. Given everyone loved it in the first version of CM:A we decided to add it to the rest of vehicles. However to implement proper visual animations would require a lot more time and resources which would render this initiative a no-go So we decided to have a reasonable compromise...
