  1. I was playing around in the support fire range map (fire range 56) by Normal Dude and noticed a bug when my bomb was about to hit it's target, basically it had some trouble hitting it. Turn save as blue, no password, camera pointing a building where bugged bomb hits in a few seconds. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=6XD9QFTY
  2. The Gau-8 only has ~40mm RHA at 1km, not very good against tanks but the high quantity would mean attacking the top or rear would have a high chance of a shell finding a weakspot.
  3. Yeah those are hellfires, the rockets are fired in bursts always and can't take out tanks without lots of luck.
  4. First ammo bar is HEI (well more explodey ammo that doesn't bounce off armor), second is HEDP (less explodey and bounces off armor), third is HellfireII and last is the hydras. Whether you can actually switch the ammo on a M230 is unknown to me. Little tooltips on these bars like on the infantry weapons would be most appreciated.
  5. SF definatly has some bad memory leaks in it somewhere, you lose performance quite often and you have to quite, start the game again, quit again and then start it again to get normal FPS back. I'd highly approve of a Lod fix for trees, it looks pretty dumb how they just vanish.
  6. I've finished it now, there are 75 + 2 questions in total.
  7. I think it isn't a full list since there are no Italian units on it and the Italians are mentioned as being in the game else-where.
  8. The cucumber one's stupid, I already knew the answer to it but I've never figured out the logic behind it.
  9. If you bought the game after a certain date (can't remember) the key will be on your BF account on the BF main web page. Just log on then go to "my account" and then to "account maintenance" then click the order record for CM:SF and it should have the key in it. If you have no luck there send an email to BF support and they'll send you your key.
  10. I got up to 21 so I think I'll have a break now, some of them are pretty tricky!
  11. I'm not sure but isn't when a vehicle is listed as abandoned it is sort of like knocked out? Only vehicles listed as dismounted are able to be recrewed?
  12. I like the new "bug out" feature for infantry and vehicles but I'm having trouble with my units doing it when I really need them to not do it. Can there be an order that stops them from bugging out unless their morale drops too low? Situations that are happening are things like an overwatch tank is hit by a missile but takes no serious damage and crew are not panicked or anything but they reverse out of the LOF leaving other units in danger.
  13. I would like my vehicles to ease off the smoke grenades a bit more personally. I hate having my tank pop-smoke and reverse when a 12.7mm bullet hits the tracks. I'd like it if they only used them if they are in real danger of being destroyed.
  14. I was plesantly surprised by the movie, it was actually quite well made. I thought I wouldn't like Tom speaking with an American accent but after a bit I deided I liked it more than english with a German accent. It had allot of tense moments which were well done. It seemed to follow the same plot (obviously!) as the German Valkyrie (Stauffenberg) movie I watched the night before I saw it, some of the scenes are almost identical.
  15. So is there no way to procede? Will it work if the enemy surenders? I liked how on the second mission you get to pick off their T-72s and then the losses/damage you did to them carries over to the next mission.
  16. I love shooting tanks through buildings, I used to think that sabot rounds didn't work that way in SF (after they were stopped by bushes, is that a bug since it happens allot to me). If the enemy has tanks and I don't need my HEAT shells, I just dump them all into the ground and use pure SABOT. The SABOT on the M1A2 will go through a maps worth of buildings and still kill a tank at the other end, came in real handy on the last mission in the Marines campaign (if you've played it you'll remember the enemy tank I'm thinking of)! As for 1.2 I'm hoping for some improvments on the way SF loads and release data for medium-large senarios. At the moment if you load a large senario you have to exit the game and reset the system memory before you start another senario otherwise you get reduced performance. You also can't load a save on a large senario twice without restarting the game in between, it will just sit on 2% loading forever if you don't.
  17. That glowing bit on the T-72s is related to the saturation of light process on some graphics cards, it's believed to be the same thing that makes the shell casings white for some of us. It seemed that it can't be fixed on battlefront's end.
  18. CMx2 is already much better than CMx1, the main sticking point is things that were in CMx1 that haven't made it to CMx2. Most of them are in the works and should turn up eventually. I'm really excited about the WW2 game, everyones (mostly) favorite setting with all the advantages of CMx2. It'll be awseome!
  19. The Syrian equivalent rank for corporal is 2 chevrons down, the rank of sergeant is 2 chevrons up.
  20. There was an older show I watched that is basically the same as Future weapons except much better. The host and writing was much more mature and easier to listen too without cringing. Had a guy with a moustache hosting it. Future weapons lost most of its cred after it went on about Dragon skin armor being the best.
