  1. That's probably my biggest gripe with the game. Too many weapons share sounds in CMBM (i.e., small arms), and too many of them don't sound much like the real thing.

  6. Yes, I'm the RFB developer. Now that I think about it more, I don't think there is radio chatter for artillery and air support calls in CMx1. However, all nations in CMSF speak in their native language for FO calls.
  7. It's been that way since CMX1, and TBH I've never really heard any complaints about it.
  8. Thinking back on it now, I'm pretty sure where I went wrong.
  9. I've played this twice now from the U.S. side and have had a rough time of it in both instances. On the first attempt, I tried to flank to the right, which resulted in my forces being pummeled. Second time was a little bit better, as I tried a more direct approach up the main road, but I had not made much progress against the final objective when time ran out. So, any tips for this one?
  10. Uh, no? Yes, I know. What I am seeing is that the gun will instantly be deployed, ready for action, as soon as the team reaches the new waypoint.
  11. Stop confusing him. You can't acquire 75mm ammo from halftracks.

I noticed last night that, if a player orders an HMG team to move to a new location and includes a Deploy order at the final waypoint, the machine gun will automatically be deployed when the team gets to the new location. I noticed this with the the M1917 and M1919 machine guns. Bug or intended feature?

  14. Very nice! BTW, is it possible to add more detailed receiver markings to the Garand and more details to the rear sight leaf on the K98? The stock textures in these areas look pretty bland.
  15. Agreed, hiding the UI would be a nice feature to have. The Silent Hunter games allow the user to toggle the display of the UI, which comes in handy when taking screenshots or videos.
  16. The ammo count simulates the total amount of rounds available to fire, not necessarily the total number of rounds of a particular type (such as HE).
  17. I keep hearing that story a lot, but is it really true? Sure, it makes for a great Hollywood story, but I don't learn my history from them.
  18. It's 2011. Graphics have to start mattering more at some point (not that the ones in CMBN are bad, but they're not exactly cutting-edge, either).
