  1. That gives me hope that similar German AT weapons will eventually be modeled as well.
  2. Sure thing! It's a great museum and well-worth the visit.
  3. Yes, it's an Archer: Heh, yep that's kind of the centerpiece of the museum. They had to remove the engine from the Sherman, so that the weight would not be too much for the (former) water tower to hold (it could hold 25 tons, while the Sherman weighed 34 tons).
  4. Indeed, it is: And, since we're on the subject, here's some more shots of the 152 and the museum's SU-100: (I believe that second one is a version for command and control, IIRC). And I checked my notes, and indeed the two 152s on display at Latrun were captured during the Six-Day War.
  5. Just because you keep saying that doesn't make it any more true.
  6. Yes, it was. In fact, I have a photo of myself standing next to one at Latrun. This one was in Egyptian service, and IIRC it was captured during the Six-Day War:
  7. The trouble is that it's a feature that shouldn't even be there. What purpose, exactly, is that 1-second pause supposed to serve?
  8. Chris mentioned it in one of his Twitch videos, but I cannot recall if he said it will be a feature for all nations and all current titles.
  9. Thanks, Steve. It's disappointing to hear this feature won't be coming any time soon, but in the meanwhile I am very content to play the game in turn-based mode.
  10. Is this something that is in the works at all for Real Time? I really miss being able to rewind the gameplay to see some sort of action happen again. Even if it was limited to 15-30 seconds, I still think it'd be a feature worth having.
  11. The current buddy aid feature works fine for that sort of thing.
  12. Agreed, it's very annoying behavior. I just had that happen to me playing the Catch a Tiger scenario in CMFI, and of course it had to happen as I was trying to get my men across terrain as fast as possible that was covered by an MG34 team.
  13. And that's why I like the Mosin-Nagant so much - it's a simple, durable, and easily-maintained rifle that gets the job done, and that's even more so with Finnish models like the M39.
  14. The quality of CMFI is no different than CMBN. If you like battles with more hilly terrain, CMFI may be for you.
  15. I played this scenario for the first time last night and shockingly I was able to pass it on my first try (real time, Iron difficulty). This is a very good scenario that presents some very good tactical dilemmas to the player.
  16. Hey Chris! If I was reading the interface correctly, the Nagant Revolver currently is loaded with 7.62x54R, which of course is incorrect. Is that a known issue, or does the interface actually say 7.62x38R?
  17. ...we might have to endure nonsense like this: http://www.pockettactics.com/news/ios-news/apple-rejects-tank-battle-1942-depicting-germans-russians-enemies/
  18. In retrospect I shouldn't have posted that original message when I did. I was absolutely flat-out beyond-normal tired, had tried to pass that scenario about a dozen times or more (to no avail, alas), and so in that moment I was venting way more than I should have. Ack, now looking back at the thread, I see that I was being asked by JonS if I was unfamiliar with the Falaise Pocket. I was obviously reading the question the opposite way, because like I said, I've been familiar with the battle for quite a long time. Everything went downhill after that. My apologies to all. I see now that my mistakes were manifold in creating and replying to this thread.
