  1. It seems that the game is not allowing anyone to sit in the passenger seat of the cab of the Studebaker truck. This truck comes with a 2-man crew, and the second man is shown seated in the back of the truck with no other troops aboard. I then added a 2-man FO team to the truck, and all three of the men sat down in the back of the truck. The GAZ MM truck does not have this issue.
  2. You don't need to post this topic in more than one location. BF will see it just fine in the Tech Support forum.
  3. True, but it was still around in 1944 as a sniper, albeit in very small numbers. If/when it makes it into the game, it should be seen very rarely. BTW, this is a very interesting document from August 1942 regarding the issues with using the SVT-40 as a sniper:
  4. Aye, I have played RO quite a bit (I used to be a beta tester for RO: Ostfront 41-45), but to be honest I cannot recall seeing hip-shooting SVTs or G43s all that often. And yes, the scoped G43 is in the game.
  5. 4-5 minutes has been and is normal if they are buddy-aiding troops that are wounded but not killed. Likewise, 1-3 minutes is normal if the soldier has been killed.
  6. Good one! I just tried it as well with an HMG platoon HQ. They will first climb onto the back of the tank, and then a moment later they will move inside the tank.
  7. Am I supposed to take that as a joke?
  8. Something I noticed with the SVT and Mosin is that the front sight is one solid block instead of separating the globe and front sight post into separate objects. Was that by design?
  9. Darn, that's a shame to read.
  10. I didn't see this listed in the manual, and I've not seen it show up yet in-game. Was this particular weapon included in this release?
  11. That does look like a very good model indeed. Well done.
  12. Steve, any comment on things like the M91/30 being called an "M30" and Soviet ranks being in the chart that shouldn't be there?
  13. You can always just play the game, you know.
  14. You have my sincere apologies, then.
  15. Ah, the typical internet sarcasm reply. I wouldn't expect anything less.
  16. I noticed that as well, along with the green icon for the SG43. Hopefully those are just placeholder art.
  17. Yes, yes, it's my curse. But, I do work in acceptance testing, and I do a lot of beta testing for 1CGS.
  18. Why anyone would want to meet someone who promotes crackpot theories like nukes being detonated over Kursk and repitilian underworlds is beyond my understanding.
  19. Very good indeed, but one thing I don't like (and it's becoming a trend) is that a lot of text for the weapon entries are a direct copy & paste from Wikipedia. You end up then with inconsistencies like different designations for 7.92mm being listed for the various German rifles and MGs.
  20. I see those ranks are in the table for the Red Army, but the problem is that they didn't exist between 1917 and 1971. Are those ranks going to be removed for the release version?
