  1. Does mod taggin work reasonably when loading example one Aris tiger mod, or will it load all aris tiger mods into memory from the data\Z folder? If it loads only one off the tagged mods it could save lot of memory. Now there is so many texture mods that loading time takes quite long.
  2. Why not to do something for the interface? Larger scenes are really pain in the ***. Many of my friends have really liked the idea behind CM, but the GUI really turned them all away from this so really great game.
  3. Could we have a gamma and brightness adjustment for CM? game is all too dark at night and even at daylight. These days even the simplest games have brightness adjustment. Should be really easy to implement this feature. Also better unit info and unit image while buying would be nice. Now it is kind a studid to alt tab and seek information from the internet. Takes too long to buy units this way
  4. Ok. Sorry I found the reason. It is the models. I have to use improved model quality in CMBN and then it runs 20-30 frames per sec. Fortress italy runs just fine with best model quality. I tried everythin else. Changing drivers didn't change frame rate at all. Perhaps leaking models or too complex models?
  5. Game should run just fine with any modern hardware. When you put a single mod file CMBN just stops to be playable. I just tested with my I5, 16gb mem and 680 GTX 4gb with few mods and framerate with fraps was about 10-17? Is it bad optimization or bad coding? (or should modding feature be left out from future versions?). I hope that my statement is not too harsh for you guys at BF CM is still my fav game eveeeR!
  6. Now I have several 4094 x 4096 pixel sized textures in use. Base grass texture could be even higher. With one 4096 x 4096 texture my 560ti 1gb was suffering from serious slowdowns and the game was unplayable. I think that CMB engine is not very well optimized at all, but extra mem will provide significant improvement on game speed with higher resolution textures.:D
  7. AHHHHHHHH!! Finally got my nvidia 680 GTX 4gb and after my 560ti 1gb I can just say WOW! I can actually see individual veins in tree leaves in my tree texture mod V2.0 for CMBN is still a mess. los problems are the worst. Don't know if they are caused by some mod. I'v been playing entirely with CMFI. But I can say that every texture mod looks different with more vram. they look more crisp and more detailed
  8. Played with my friend one match V2.0 and it was impossible to play because los problems. We could see and aim through houses and sometimes we couldn't see anything into the houses while there were infantry inside in them.:mad: BF please fix LOS!!!
  9. Yes. My mistake. I am really sorry. I forgot to take out Aris textures. I used them as a template. I only re-modded leaves for the bark.
  10. Any benefits from getting more display adapter memory?. I now have 1gb. Does texture mods benefit from more vram?
  11. Nice one. I played with adobe after effects and added extra alpha glow into slow flames. Looks even better
  12. I made soundmod for guns directory. Garand alone has 9 different sounds. I have given almost all weapons several sounds and they sound really evil. Like a real thing Files are named like this: Works on some textures too. gun garand 0 gun garand 1 gun garand 2 gun garand 3 gun garand 4 etc...

Best game since Steel Panthers! - Next unit key doesn't work on finnish keyboards. - Put next unit + lock view as an option into options menu so that we can see units in lock mode while pressing next and previous unit buttons. - Floatin unit list. - Unit information database in purchase screen would be nice. - hard target command please
